Japanese avant-garde artist Yayoi Kusama and French fashion house Louis Vuitton present preliminary images of their joint international pop-up store venture. Coinciding both with the Infinitely Kusama collaborative line as well as the artist’s gallery opening at the Whitney Museum, planned locations include New York City, Pacific Place in Hong Kong, Ngee Ann City in Singapore, Isetan’s Shinjuku branch in Tokyo, the Dover Street Market in Ginza, Printemps in Paris, and Selfridges in London. The inaugural shop opens in New York on July 10, two days before Kusama’s touring retrospective is unveiled.

After rescuing his daughter who was kidnapped in Taken, Liam Neeson is back in the film’s sequel this time as a hostage himself, when he, along with his wife, are kidnapped by the father of one of the villains killed in the first film. Neeson is reprising his role as a retired CIA operative Bryan Mills who will again be doing what he does best to protect himself and his family. This revenge tale was shot in beautiful Istanbul, Turkey and seems to have taken a decidedly more action-oriented approach — although the first installment had its fair share. It also stars Famke Janssen and Maggie Grace as Mills’ wife and daughter, respectively. An official theater release date has yet to be slated, though we should expect it by the end of the summer.

After collaborating on a range of T-shirts that benefited the NYC Cancer Institute, Marc Jacobs and South Park have once again teamed up – this time to present the “Muscle Man Marc” South Park doll. Having been featured in an episode of the wildly-popular animated program during a set-piece where Cartman threw a tea party, the doll will go on sale this Friday, June 14. Limited to just 500 pieces, each will retail for $125 USD and be available at Marc Jacobs stores nationwide and throughout Europe, as well as online.

Catch me if you can, I'm the ginger bread man. Welp now that I got that out the way lets talk about this classic. The classic that I speak of is 2002 movie inspired by a true story, starring Leonardo and Tom Hanks "Catch Me If You Can". I never seen this movie till around 2010 I think. I know I didn't see it in 2002 cause I was  being a kid and busy outside. But for Frank Jr in this movie being a kid went beyond playing cops and robbers, he was living the life of a con.

Electronics mainstay Apple is primed to launch iOS 6, the most recent update to its renowned operating system. The team at Cupertino has reportedly made around 200 changes including alterations to the way Siri functions with the phone. Not only did she get smarter in terms of restaurant, sports and movie times, but Siri is also set to be introduced to the iPad. Furthermore, an integration of Facebook into the operating system itself will be seen as with Twitter for iOS 5. A new “Do Not Disturb” setting has been added also, as well as the ability to send pre-made text messages and set location-based reminder notifications. Modifications to FaceTime were also made; cellular networks will now be able to support the function. Some details are offered below:

With more big announcements surely in store, the latest word from Apple sees the tech giant unveiling the next-generation of MacBook Pro notebooks. At the moment, full details haven’t been disclosed but some key specs include a Retina display with 2880 x 1800 resolution, casing that measures just 0.71-inch thin and weighs 4.46 pounds, 16GB of RAM, NVIDIA Kepler GT 650M graphics, up to a quad-core 2.7GHz Core i7 processor, a maximum 768GB of storage, and a promised seven hours of battery life with 30 days standby. In addition, the laptop looks to debut a new, thinner MagSafe connector and a new fan that’s said to be “nearly imperceptible” to the user. Pricing starts at $2,199 for a 2.3GHz unit with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Stay tuned for further details.

Lyndsay told me about this show a long while ago. I had heard about it and seen a couple of eps before but always forgot to watch. Let's just say after I watched the first ep I didn't see the sun till I got thru the season with eggs in it. When you watch the show you will know what I'm talking about. This is a good show for everybody, everybody gets naked. No really lots of naked in this. Season 5 starts in 15 mins. Can't wait.

Luxury goods purveyor Louis Vuitton puts the travel spirit at the forefront of their intentions for Spring/Summer 2012 with the release of their Monogram Kibo Sac. A stylish, vintage-inspired take on the classic backpack, the Kibo features nuanced detailing set against canvas, while cowhide leather accents add to the savoir-faire of the upscale piece.
