It's really been a lot of talk about this team. "They to small" "No bigs" "They shoot to much 3's" etc etc. People have been talking about this team like this is a team of busters. They may have a point that we have no bigs, but isn't D12 hurt ? Aren't Blake hurt ? Yup that right there is the bigs that were going to be on the team, but they hurt and last time I checked you can't play hurt.

Certainly no stranger to footwear, SUPRA is introducing a line of shoes dedicated strictly to a younger demograph: kids. Stylized specifically after adult-sized SUPRA silhouettes, the range obviously is offered in a smaller scale, yet features the same core SUPRA DNA that made its larger sizes so covetable and unique. The inaugural range features the Skytop, the Cuban, the Weston and the Vaider. An amalgam of leather and suede panels are used to bring a level of sophistication to a shoe range that is more traditionally mocked up in overly playful colorways and styles. Although you may not be in a rush to hop on the parent bandwagon just yet, fret not that SUPRA has provided a sufficient footwear option for the little guy once that time hits.

Initially on display earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show, European auto tuner Mansory has officially unveiled its special edition take on the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. Dubbed “Carbonado,” the super car features custom body paneling of carbon fiber alongside matching detailing on the interior and a 6.5-liter V12 under the hood – capable of 754 horsepower and 553 lb-ft torque. Having removed the front wings and bonnet in favor of custom designs, the automobile also features a diffuser integrated into the new rear apron and the inclusion of a rear wing while new side sills utilize built-in channels to direct additional cool air to both the rear brakes and drive unit.

Adding to its animal print sneaker collection for Fall/Winter 2012, Pierre Hardy timely introduces a new take on its mid-top silhouette — this time taking the pattern of tiger stripes. Rather than a full upper of suede, the tiger print mid-top opts for a complete canopy of calf hair, while black suede accentuates the trimmings throughout. I been thinking about this for some time now, I mean I really have. Took me a while to even start writing this without getting mad. You all know Joe Paterno ? Joseph Vincent "Joe" Paterno (December 21, 1926 – January 22, 2012), often referred to as "JoePa", was an American college football coach who was the head coach of the Penn State Nittany Lions for nearly 46 years, from 1966 until 2011 when he was fired for failing to protect children from sexual abuse by his coaching staff. At the time of his death he held the record for the most victories by an NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) football coach with 409 and was the only FBS coach to reach 400 victories. He coached five undefeated teams that won major bowl games and, in 2007, was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach. In November 2011, he was fired by the university as a result of the child sex abuse scandal at Penn State involving his former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky. An investigation conducted by former FBI director Louis Freeh concluded, in July 2012, that Paterno was complicit in concealing the activities of Sandusky and dissuading other university officials from reporting him to the authorities in 1998 and 2001.



Former FBI director Louis Freeh, whose firm was hired by the Penn State Board of Trustees to conduct an independent investigation into the scandal, concluded, after interviewing over 400 people and reviewing over 3.5 million documents, that Paterno, Spanier, Curley and Schultz had deliberately conspired to conceal Sandusky's actions in order to protect publicity surrounding Penn State's vaunted football program. Freeh's investigation found that by their actions, the four men "failed to protect against a child sexual predator harming children for over a decade." The report concluded that Paterno, along with Schultz, Spanier and Curley "concealed Sandusky's activities from the Board of Trustees, the University community and authorities."


 Emails uncovered by Freeh’s investigation revealed that Paterno had lied to the grand jury on at least two occasions: first, when testifying that he was unaware of any possible child abuse by Sandusky prior to the 2001 Lasch shower rape, and second, in claiming that he had only once spoken to Tim Curley about the 2001 incident. Emails uncovered by Freeh's team showed Paterno had, in fact, closely followed an earlier 1998 investigation about possible child molestation by Sandusky. In 2001, while Paterno claimed his only discussion regarding McQueary's report to him about Sandusky in the Lasch showers was with Curley immediately following the incident, subsequent emails revealed he had engaged in additional conversations with Curley pressuring him (and Schultz and Spanier) not to report the rape to police. 
In addition, the report said that even after Sandusky's retirement in 1999 Paterno, Schultz, Spanier and Curley "empowered Sandusky to attract potential victims to the campus and football events by allowing him to have continued, unrestricted and unsupervised access to the University's facilities and affiliation with the University's prominent football program."


Now I ask you this is the man you want to be outside of your football field ? This should be the face of your school ? I think they need to not only take down the statue but the NCAA should give them the death penalty, For people that don't know what the death penalty is, it's when National Collegiate Athletic Association's use power to ban a school from competing in a sport for at least one year. It is the harshest penalty that an NCAA member school can receive.
For this school Penn State they should get 5 years. 


The death penalty was given to SMU football back in 1987 for paying players to come play for them. Now if you are giving it out for that, why shouldn't it be given out for this ? I mean the NCAA can not sit here and tell me that other schools to this day don't pay players. That's another post. Back to this. Take the statue down. This man knew about kids being raped and did nothing about it. People like to say that "Oh he told the school" Oh, I didn't know that telling the school was telling the cops. On top of that, that adds to the reason why the school need to get DP. They knew about this going on. They put football over humans. To hell with football you tell the damn cops, after you kick his ass when you seen him in the shower.

Not only will this season's designers have to prove they have the creativity, skills and passion to dazzle Heidi Klum, mentor Tim Gunn and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia, they'll also have to show off their garments to the critical eyes of a live audience in one of New York's most visited and highly visible sites for their first challenge of the new season.

Filmed on location in the Big Apple, each 90-minute episode of the 10th season will showcase the talent of the designers on the runway, and the drama that takes place behind-the-seams as the designers attempt to make the cut to show at New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center. With some new twists for the designers along the way, who will make the cut?

That is the question of the day, are the hawks making moves ? I been seeing a lot of trades and people talking with teams, but none with the hawks. I mean they did get Joe Johnson and that great player Marvin Williams (j/k) out of here. Now what is the cap space going to be used for ? I really feel the hawks missed out on the 2 pieces we need. SG and SF. You sent Joe to the nets for bascilly nothing so you can "blow up" the team as you say. You want to bulid a team to get past what they are now, a second round team. So why are they not trying to get anybody. We have the space ATTACK hawks.

Continuing on with the celebration of 10 glorious years in bringing the lastest footwear news to the sneakerhead community, Sneaker Freaker has this time teamed up with SUPRA to put its own touches on the Skytop III. The entire upper of the collaborative sneaker is covered in a custom “goldenball” suede, while the normally all white EVA midsole has been treated in a special speckled concrete pattern. Furthering the finishing touches to the pair are waxed laces, top metal pink shoelace eyelet and a commemorative insole celebrating its decade of work. Unfortunately, only a few dozen were made and will only be distributed to a select few.
