Most people start the morning out with tea or some coffee. Me ? I start the day out watching First Take on ESPN2 from 10am-12. This is, if not the best show on the ESPN Network. Wait I can't say that. PTI and Around the Horn is great too. The great thing about this show is that they reach out to more then people that report on sports. They go beyond that. They talk with everybody. Wale for one. He really knows sports and well you already know he knows music. Can't wait to hear the full track.

By now, the Internets have gone crazy over the unveiling of Nike’s Back to the Future II MAG. As the finished product prepares for an eBay launch to the benefit of The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, the recent presentation was accompanied by some awesome sketches that would be the precursor to the Nike MAG. Presented by Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker, the slides show the development, brainstorming and story-boarding process as well as the official memo that led to the meeting between both the Nike and Back to the Future parties.

Redesigned to withstand the harsh weather of fall and winter, the iconic high-top Dunk has been updated as a part of Nike‘s new Off Mountain Series with the debut of the Dunk High OMS. Featuring a water-resistant ripstop nylon and leather upper, the Dunks make use of Outlast©-coated lining for enhanced temperature regulation while Warming Blanket Strobel technology under the sockliner aids in the process by reflecting body heat back to the foot. Cushioned with a full-length Phylon midsole, the updated silhouette utilizes a Free-inspired outsole adapted from the likes of the Special Field Boot and Free Trail with deep sipes and a snow tread pattern for flexible traction. Available in Baroque Brown/Black-Dark Khaki and a predominately Anthracite makeup, the Nike Dunk High OMS is available now from Premier for $140 USD.

The past week has been a whirlwind of activity surrounding the new home of the Brooklyn Nets, an entity partially owned by hip-hop mogul Jay-Z. In addition to the christening of the new Barclays Center tonight to a sold-out crown, the team’s jersey was unveiled. Cast in a clean black color with a simple font logo across the chest and herringbone tape across the sides, the herringbone pay homage to the same design on the court of the Barclays Center. The jerseys are available now at the NBA Store while a small capsule of an on and off-court apparel was also created with adidas.

Maybe it's just me, but the hype they had around this was way to much. I really think that this is way to simple. I dislike the Spurs for the same reason.

Another China exclusive model will help to usher in this year’s NBA season as evidenced by the Nike LeBron X Cutting Jade. Utilizing particular design elements from Chinese culture as a point of reference – including a specially designed sliding box adorned with a Chinese proverb – the special model acknowledges the Far East’s love for basketball. Key design elements include a jade green Hyperfuse upper with a matching rubber outsole, black lining, black mesh tongue and red accents on the laces, Dynamic Flywire, Swoosh outline, speckled midsole and visible Zoom Air unit. The Nike LeBron X Cutting Jade will be available across the Greater China region early next month for a yet-to-be-determined price.

Dior Homme has just taken the wraps off its latest collection of accessories for men. As the Exotic Skins name would suggest, the collection is meticulously handcrafted from some of the finest quality crocodile skins available. Three new items make up this collection: a large tote, a briefcase, and a cardholder. Finished in a rich, dark green crocodile leather, the three accessories are the perfect addition to any fall wardrobe. No word on pricing yet, but the collection should be making its way to select Dior Homme retail locations worldwide soon.

This Fall/Winter 2012 sees an extension of the OPTICAL line from veteran eyewear manufacturer SUPER – with more of their signature silhouettes transformed into stylish eyeglass frames evidenced by the addition of two brand new colorways. I seen this shoe in the 2k video yesterday and I thought to myself "Wow adidas made a good shoe". Inspired by the brand’s mid-top basketball styles of the ’90s, adidas Originals presents the Tech Street Mid. A casual off-court sneaker with a progressive edge, the Tech Street Mid offers premium nubuck and patent leather construction alongside an icy outsole, bold Trefoil branding, and an oversized tongue that would be right at home amongst the sportswear giant’s collaborative line with Jeremy Scott. Seen here in an Aluminum/Lab Green colorway and also available in a predominately black makeup, the adidas Originals Tech Street Mid will retail for $110 USD and is set to drop this Saturday, September 29 at select retailers.

Jordan Brand has been on a roll lately and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down as it brings back Johnny Kilroy, the fictional character Michael Jordan adopted for the Air Jordan IX TV commercials. To celebrate the Kilroy character, Jordan Brand is re-releasing several Air Jordan IX’s, starting with this silver/black/red variation. Featuring a black upper with silver trim and red lining, these clean kicks boast clever little details such as the Johnny Kilroy branding on the tongue, the fictional character’s jersey number on the heel, and the phrase “Kilroy Kicks Butt” stitched on the inside. Available starting October 6 at Singapore’s Limited Edt stores.

The Jeremy Scott and adidas Originals line unveils his most recent revamp of his JS Wings sneaker. In the photo above, the 2.0 features classical Hermes (the mythological figure, not the brand) styling in metallic silver with tangerine highlights. Detailing features a carapace-like skin and a zipper cover-up over thick black laces. The coloring and vanity lacing gives off a futuristic vibe despite its strong retro leanings given off by the stocky silhouette. Available at 43einhalb.

The insight video I have been waiting on is finally out. The 4 mins I been waiting to see is here for me to watch. I been hype for this video since they started doing them. I can't wait to get in this game and make a couple shoes. Last year shoes just looked bad, really bad. I mean it looked like blocks on they feet with some shoes. I also didn't like that you couldn't change all the colors on most of the Jordans and others.   They listen to us. We cried about this for the whole run of 2k12 and I'm glad they listen. Man I'm to ready. I made my pre order 2 weeks ago so I'm hoping to get this game at least on Monday. Cause online orders come early with most games. Just wait till you see my shoes on the blacktop. Killing Em. Oh and how can I forget they even went and got Tinker for the game. TINKER!!!!! Legend

In the latest episode of "Talkin' 2K" with the Lucas Brothers, They say Blake Griffin is argued to be the greatest dunker of all-time when an unexpected caller joins the debate. Um what are they smoking? It's this person by the name of VC that's way better. He is that good that I didn't need to even say his whole name.

Two seasons in the making, two seasons we been fighting to get to this point. Blood, sweat and jump shots in the gym went into this. Nobody thought that we would win the finals. Everybody been riding our team all year. ESPN even made a top ten of why Andrew can't be a team captain, the world wrote us off.
