Having recently concluded his 16-year tenure as Louis Vuitton‘s creative director, last week Marc Jacobs announced a new contract with the LVMH brand in which they hope to prepare his eponymous brand for a lucrative public offering. Though everyone agrees there is a lot of work that needs to be done before an IPO becomes a reality, the American designer is ready for the challenge, assuring the integrity of his brand will never be compromised. Fresh off his last LV showing and focused on the future of his namesake line, Marc Jacobs sits down with WWD to further discuss his current undertakings as well as his plans for the next few years. Read an excerpt of the interview below and click here for the full article.

One she doesn't  have pants on, somebody get this women some pants. Just playing, women don't need pants. Just playing again. Roll with the jokes people. If I was a women I would wear the fox around my neck. I'm serious that looks good. I wouldn't wear it with that sweater, that's a little to much. You never want to wear heavy on heavy.

That's heavy and heavy. If I was you I would wear a t-shirt(sanquon) and match that with some jeans (ripped) and high boots. Better yet sneakers. Think about it, with the simple look it will make the fox fur stand out. You're Welcome

After news broke that Marc Jacobs would be serving as Creative Director for Diet Coke, we’re now privy to the cans crafted by the designer. Jacobs’ homage to female empowerment in the 80s and 90s as part of the soda giant’s “Sparkling Together for 30 Years” campaign sees three different cans created – with one featuring stylized birds flit around a fashion illustration showing a model crouching in a bustier dress, stiletto heels and a tall trilby hat, another awash in a flurry of bowties over a model in a strong-shouldered tuxedo and top hat, and the last surrounded by a shower of polka dots. The first cans and bottles are slated to arrive next month in 11 European markets including the UK, France, Benelux and Iceland. Jacobs had a hand in three cans, three bottles and three ad campaigns – with each corresponding to a recent decade in fashion
