The Squire + Said Co "Company Retreat" 2022

To love what you have done is to take the time to actually sit back and live in the beauty of the seeds that you planted. The landscape of society changes at such a rapid rate that you never know when the last will be just that. I want to make sure that we here at The Squire + Said co never find ourselves lost in the ever-fetching moment that is time. We are not defined by our goals as a company. That box can't confine our fluid nature. What we can control is the enjoyment we have along the way. Our first "Company Retreat" in Atlanta, Ga will bring all the amazing talent into one place to live in the moment as André (Leon Talley) would always yell at me to do.
The company has big plans for the future and that will be addressed but for now, let's champion the journey that we have taken to get this far.
The first retreat for the company is in honor of André Leon Talley & Virgil Abloh. I forever give you the flowers from the garden you help us grow.

It is with great honor that I am proud to announce I will be painting the narrative of the next Tuskegee Airmen documentary. It is a privilege to have my voice push the narrative for such an amazing story. The Tuskegee Airmen were the first African-American military aviators in the United States Armed Forces. As a historian, I feel this is something that I always needed to do but, didn't know it at the time. I look forward to the outcome. Thank you Ms.Clavin & Fox for believing that I can do this. Yo, I'm getting a S.A.G card. Yikes!!

My Type Of Flowers

To say I hate flowers would be the understatement of the year. Let me tell y'all a story. I brought Jeem some flowers for V-Day. I was pretty excited about her getting them. I put lots of thoughts into them. The rep for the flower company helped pick them out and I knew I had the best choice. I got the white roses with this mail box. Wooden.  Pink mailbox and had like little hearts and stuff. My logic was when the roses died, she would be able to put her poems in it. She's a poet. The rep loved it and told me there need to even be more men like me in the world. I was feeling good. I just knew I killed the choice. 

 I suck at keeping the secrets of gifts but I was quiet. I didn't say anything. 

SO.

 The flowers get to the house and she goes to open them. She excited. Really excited. She surprised and I'm just feeling like the man. She open the package and the flowers are already dead. I mean dead as dead can be. She took them to her mom house to try and bring them back to life, no luck.

I have hated flowers ever since. They die and they're over priced. 

Not if they start selling followers like this, than I can get behind that. Made out of fake stems and chips. This is the flowers that I would love to have around the house. They don't die.
