Happy 10th birthday to #KanyeWest album that started it all. #TheCollegeDropout

Long before he was Yeezus, Kanye West was a college dropout and a producer-turned-rapper getting ready to drop his debut album. Long before the razor-sharp, grindingly raw sounds of summer 2013’s Yeezus was the sample-heavy, instant classic that turns ten years old today. The Kanye West that created The College Dropout seems vastly different from the Kanye West that created Yeezus, and both are different from the rapper that created My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and so on. But that is precisely what makes Kanye West such a force to be reckoned with in today’s musical climate: he has an artistic vision, the talent to bring it alive, and the audacity to continue to push the envelope in terms of his sound and image.

When Mincraft first hit the Xbox, I was hooked. I played hours at a time and all full on with it. Didn't really play another game. Surprising I was even able to blog during that time.  Anyways, I been off it for like a year and I'll been sucked back in. I have two projects that I'm working on. I have this massive stadium that is just mid blowing. Maybe, I'm a little to end over my head. Nah, the other project and the closest to home is the regular world. The one I started when I first started playing the game. I'm thinking about doing a day where you can check them out. Maybe add something to them if you want.

Allensworth is the first all-black Californian township, founded and financed by African Americans. Created by Lieutenant Colonel Allen Allensworth in 1908, the town was built with the intention of establishing a self-sufficient city where African Americans could live their lives free of racial prejudice.

Show your Saint Valentine some love this February 14th. By letting millions of people know you love your special someone. This year Ghadir and I would like to help you out with that. . Write them a love letter, poem, dedicate a song (movie scene), draw a picture, do whatever you want to show them your love.

Then email it to us and we'll post it to our blogs. For millions to see. Making that special day, a lot more special.

Black history and sports history were made on Feb. 4 when two African-American professional football head coaches, Tony Dungy of the Indianapolis Colts and Lovie Smith of the Chicago Bears, led their teams to the most popular one-day sports event in the U.S. and one of the most popular worldwide—the Super Bowl.
