Justin Melnick is a digital artist/ photographer whose latest work is featured in an exhibition titled, Arm Me. Having spent some time in the Middle East, Melnick has imagined what war arms would look like if some of the most renowned designers like; Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, and Pucci had input. The outcome is a thought-provoking series of posh ammunition, definitely worth a peek. This exhibition starts September 2nd at Gallery 385 in New York City.

It was only a few days ago that Crooks released their Men’s 8021 exclusive t-shirts at their flagship store on Melrose in LA. Cheer up ladies, as of Thursday, August 28th, the women’s 8021’s will be releasing at the same location.
For the most part, female streetwear doesn’t create a ton of chatter, but Crooks and Castles has done a commendable job of creating a feminine line without it being too girly. There’s a difference!

A Bathing Ape has released a hefty chunk of their Fall collection on their website. A brand that is known to stray from the cookie cutter path has come out with a variety of cut & sew, denim, winter jackets, and of course, tees. Plaid is a big pattern in the collection but there are a few twists like the pinstripe blazer and denim overalls. You be the judge. Check out the line in its entirety on the Bathing Ape website.

In a career spanning almost 20 years, Run DMC has done a remarkable job as pioneers in the hip-hop world as they paved the way towards mainstream popularity. Despite the unfortunate passing death of Jam Master Jay back in 2002 which ultimately led to the retirement of the group, their memory still has a resonating effect as Japanese brand Santastic! teams up with Mitchell & Ness, a brand popular for its throwback concepts. Santastic! is the apparel spin-off of popular Japanese cartoonist Santa Inoue who’s works span the well-known Japanese comic series Tokyo Tribes. Retailing for ¥8,190 JPY (approximately $74 USD), the t-shirt will release August 23rd.
