kitsune 2011 spring summer 4 Kitsune 2011 Spring/Summer Collection
French contemporary label Kitsune presents its upcoming collection for Spring/Summer 2011. Entitled REPORTER, the line takes inspiration from the 1975 film The Passenger, also known asProfessione: Reporter in Italian, starring Jack Nicholson. Seen throughout are various textiles and overall styles synonymous with Spring, including lightweight blazers, solid and graphic t-shirts, various knits, outerwear, and a series of seersucker items throughout. Definitely a crisp and refreshing collection for a new year.

Married to the Mob picks up where it left off last season with their approach to luxury “crisp fall nights and first dates” with a strong palette of bold and bright colors. The collection’s different angles enable a different style dependent on the occasion from casual walks to times where something a little classier is needed to fit the bill.

In yet another dope release dropped first by Attic, Rogue Status have put out an reversible summer outwear collection that’s perfect for summer nights. They’ve released several different versions – our favourite being the beach-themed AWOL design – as well as a few designs featuring their popular gun-themed patterning. Head on over to Attic, where they’re also carrying Rogue Status belts, wallets, and crewnecks, to check the full collection.

To accompany the Ubiq show they’re sponsoring, Rocksmith have dropped a whole ton of new items for the month of March. Rocksmith have just gotten a welcome – if unexpected – promotional push from Jay-Z, who wore one of their tees courtside. And for good reason - their newest line is full of winners. They’ve released a collection of flashy graphic tees, polos, and outerwear – including a Wendy’s styled Biggie tribute. These should drop online soon!

Their latest collaborative series features no-nonsense sweats, with pullovers, zip-ups, and yes, pants. From Undefeated, you know what to expect: their no-bullshit branding is featured prominently on the hood and emblazoned on the chest of their zip-ups in reflective print. Available in black and heather, expect these to drop online and at brick n’ mortar locations any time now!

With Issey Miyake behind the Final Home concept label, it pretty much goes without saying that quality comes standard and this sweet looking vest is testament to that. With more interesting features and ’survivalist’ styling than you could imagine, this vest is a sure bet for safe living in the urban jungles we call home.

If you’re feeling that streetwear has recessed into a stagnant pool of neon colours, it just so happens that 10.Deep agree with you. So, they’ve decided to go against the grain, bringing it back to the 90s with their ‘Nineteen Ninety Now‘ collection. The core of their collection is rooted in classic streetwear – sportswear and preppy offerings worn with a twist. Accordingly, their newest line is looking real strong, featuring fleeces, cardigans, and some especially unique plaid button ups. For more on these soon-to-be-classics, check their lookbook (and the accompanying video) and keep your eye on your local retailers.

As Spring rolls into season, the fall/winter look books begin to leak, reminding us of the bitter cold that just left. Undercover has just invited everyone to look at their fall/winter looks with their 2009/2010 collection. There are many styles to be seen, as it seems they did not go the conservative route by scaling back. With so many looks, they have opened things up to many would-be consumers. For the more traditional, cardigans & bubble jackets. For the more forward crowd, cloaks/capes & engineered slacks/sweats. Undercover has put together a pretty well rounded couture collection, lets just hope that spring/summer leaves as late as it came this year.

False just keep on reinventing their image, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to define them as a label. Their shirts are equal parts fashion statement and work of art, and they’ve released seven different hand-finished designs. A sure head-turner is their befuddling anarchist Klansman design – it’s an excellent, and perhaps incindiary - little piece of design. International sales will be funneled through their webstore, which you can check right here.

Public School are certainly living up to their name with their newest Spring collection. Like Wood Wood, their collection is subdued – with mostly black, greys, and whites. That said, the pieces almost look like the best school uniforms ever, and the real strength of this collection is in the design details – they’ve added distinctive (yet subtle) personalized accents to institutions like the pea coats, vests, and cardigans. Check out the collection at Ssense.
