SummerTime 1995 by J.Squire

I made this one a year ago. It was after Hugh died. I was just going thru old photos (not like that) and got inspired. Took me about ten minutes to put the core of the drawing together. I didn't like anything that I came up with after the fact so I sat on it. Till last night, actually. I finally pieced something together I liked. Enjoy.  I enjoy this one and I plan on doing more. Stay locked on my Instagram / Twitter so you can stay in the know about my art. 

 I have been telling y'all we getting busy this year. Time to bring this D.I.Y back. Get them hands dirty. I should say get them hands glued. This didn't kick my ass till I had to get to super glue the Apple Jacks. 

 Blueberry frosting. Apple Jack topping. Buttercream flavored cupcake. (J.Squire House special)
Which is pretty funny cause the original mock I was doing, didn't involve Apple Jacks. I was going to use M&M's. Clay made M&M's. Didn't feel like going to the store so the Apple Jacks became the topping.   

I was so wrapped up in making this that I didn't do progress photos. Sorry. Y'all would have freaked out when you seem the middle of this anyways. I had to start all over again because I kinda peeled so much of it. The whole brown and some of the blue. I had to repaint this with all the chaos of it being done and not done. It was fun.

Back in 08. Blitzen had beef with Santa. He wasn't feeling his game on the court. Calling his house and making video's about how weak he is. How disrespectful is that? It even reach the point of calling out Kobe and LeBron. Blitzen got heart. Game too I hope. With all this talk.  It''s only one way to finish this, on the court.  Who's winning? Tonight is the night that we have all been waiting on. The night where all the games start to count and the fantasy points become real. The time where you have the highest hope for your team and the everlasting praying for this to be y'all year. To help kick off the new year, I put together some art work.
