Maybe I have been watching Love and Basketball so long that I have this deep into my mind. The basketball hooper girl look is top 2 outfits ever. It's just something about it. Maybe it's just something about Sanaa Lathan.

This post is for the ladies and the men looking for something to buy something for their lady. Also, the lady looking to buy something for their lady too.

Ski Mask
Gotta get the shirt three sizes too big so it hangs just right. Four is too many and two will make it look like, nevermind.

Parma 16 Shorts

Give the shorts the short, short treatment. You don't wanna go too long then you looking like you sell that Lindsay Lohan.

 adidas Nite Jogger

Giving the look of playing basketball and not playing the game is two things. Look like you playing cause the Rona is out. Let's not really play it, okay?

Oreo is set the release some summertime flavors to its popular cookie. Inspired by popular Japanese ingredients, the new Oreo release will consist of a Peach Oolong and Sakura Matcha concoction. Deviating from the customary black-and-white design, the Peach Oolong version will see a black cookie portion matched with peach-colored filling. The Sakura Matcha gets the most color as pink biscuits sandwich green matcha filling.

It seems Oreos success with the red Supreme crossover has got Nabisco cooking up some exciting new ideas for the summer. Those interested in trying the new Oreo flavors can find them in Hong Kong from now until May 1 for a price of $8.50 USD.

I just brought some off eBay.

Todd Snyder has just dropped its newest collab in the form of a “Chalk Stripe” New Balance 997. The team-up sees that classic 997 silhouettes covered in a premium gray suede material with snake-embossed white patent leather.

As Todd Snyder puts it,  the Chalk Stripe 997 was “inspired by the ’70s when being a tennis star meant having equally adept footwork at the baseline by day and at the disco by night…” While the sneaker appears like a sports shoe from afar, details like the snake print and gold letter print and heel cup elevate this into the lifestyle segment — a clean sneaker for everyday wear. Keeping your feet comfortable throughout the day is New Balance‘s ENCAP EVA midsole cushioning.

Those interested can find the Todd Snyder x New Balance “Chalk Stripe” 997 over at Todd Snyder for $230 USD.

This spring, Vans is partnering with Vancouver-based label CLUBGEAR for two classic silhouettes reimagined through a vibrant, ’90s rave-inspired lens. Known for their techno graphics and playful aesthetics, CLUBGEAR gives the Era Pro and Slip-On Pro silhouettes asymmetric neon accents and retro patterning.

The Era Pro boasts a mismatched take on Vans’ iconic checkerboard print in different multi-check colorways such as red/blue, green/black and purple/yellow. A yellow “CLUBGEAR” logo is embroidered on the heels, while neon detailing line the inside of the shoe and the tongue. For an even bolder statement, a set of micro-checkerboard laces can be worn in place of the original white pair.

For the second option, the Slip-On Pro features a black “Crosshair” pattern with green and orange accents outlining the tongue. “CLUBGEAR” wraps around the entirety of the shoe by way of a foxing stripe. Both the Era Pro and Slip-On Pro feature mismatched blue and red rubber Vans heel labels and arrive in a custom all-over print box. A select number of customers will receive a hand-embellished box decorated with artwork by skater Tyler Warren or Ben Blundell.

Retailing from $90 to $100 USD, the Era Pro and Slip-On Pros are available now through select Vans Pro Skate accounts in the US and Canada and on CLUBGEAR’s website.

Trying to keep it bright in the living room as I put my legs up. The mint hit different in the light.

adidas is stepping into spring bright and bold with the unveiling of two new ZX 8000 colorways. The sneakers appear in “Vapour Pink” and “White/Turquoise,” introducing new colors and luxurious materials to the archived adidas model.

For the “Vapour Pink” iteration, adidas uses a mixture of leather, suede and mesh for the upper. Soft yellow and pink form the base, while overlaying sections of red suede appear on the lower mid-panel and at the rear, wrapping around the heel. More red tones can be found lining the inside of the shoe, as well as on its signature three stripe-inspired eyestay.

Contrasting these elements are the two-toned blue stripes, the 3M section on the toe box, and the white cage on the heel that houses green mesh. Rounding out this Easter-esque offering is its soft pink mesh tongue and the off white sole unit.

Joining the “Vapour Pink” pair is another seasonal colorway of “White/Turquoise.” Much like the yellow and pink-based look, the new “White/Turquoise” colorway sports plenty of materials and shades. The white leather base is covered in turquoise suede, and is contrasted by purple stripes, yellow mesh in the heel cage, an orange lace lock, and a minty blue-tinted sole unit complete with green Torsion equipment peeping out towards the front.

Take a look at both of adidas’ ZX 8000s in the gallery above, and expect a release sometime this spring at retailers such as 43einhalb. Both pairs will retail for €119.95 EUR (approx. $130 USD).

2019 | JAN | FEB

This is the year that won't take taking huh? I meant, we complain about the other years but we are just playing. We didn't mean it. This year, we mean that shit with all our chests. What the fuck.

Here's the top five posts of my blog from March.

OLD PARK One-Off Flight Jackets

Functional gear brands like The North Face, Nike and Patagonia have already put measures in place to upcycle and repair vintage and damaged goods in the name of sustainability, but that hasn’t stopped enterprising young labels from upcycling unwearable goods on their own terms. Since Fall/Winter 2012, Japan’s OLD PARK has recycled undesirable goods into covetable new creations, and for Spring/Summer 2020, the label is reissuing its popular flight jackets crafted from damaged layering pieces. Nah I'm Chilling #DressLikeJavaris

How y'all doing out there? Nah, how are y'all doing? Let me know in the comments. I better see you. Anyways. Shoutout to the people that stay here and been here. Hello to the ones that are new here and Oh, you remember me? To the ones that have come back. Hope you been good. I haven't been waiting.  (post here)

Vans Autism Awareness Collection

Setting out to raise awareness for autism, Vans has now launched a sensory inclusive collection where part of the proceeds will be donated to charity. (post here)

Doja Cat - Streets (Live Performance) | Vevo LIFT

Born and raised in L.A., the 24-year-old self-taught singer-rapper behind “Candy” is a vet of sorts. The arts were central to her upbringing, and she started sharing her music on Soundcloud back in 2013. A year later she dropped her much-buzzed-about ‘Purrr!’ EP, and since she’s nurtured an ever-growing array of feverish fans who revere her for combining a radiant charisma with a unique flow and tongue-in-cheek lyrics (see: the irresistible“MOOO!”). (post here)

Versace's Medusa Velvet Slippers

Continuing to deliver expressions of luxury, Versace has now put together a pair of Medusa-Embroidered Logo-Velvet Slippers. (post here)

Random song of the month (Sponsored by Apple Music) :

That's the five for this month. Did your favorite make the list? Let me know in the comment section or on  Twitter and Facebook.I didn't mean to write Facebook but yeah that too. I meant Instagram.

ASICS is back to its signature stylings on the GEL-Lyte III with a new “Smoke Blue” colorway. Offering oceanic ornamentation with a trifecta of blue hues, the “Smoke Blue” is a leisurely lifestyle spin on an ASICS classic.

Three blue shades take up residence on the upper: light blue mesh graces the base layer and medium blue appears on the supple suede overlays, while blueberry-toned leather appears on the lateral Tiger stripes and heel tab. This Tiger stripe provides the shoe’s most interesting detail. While it is indeed a rich blue on the lateral side, it shifts to a bone-colored “Grand Shark” hue on the medial half, a potential nod to one of the ocean’s apex predators.

Cut-out windows on the heel showcase a small red graphic with Japanese kanji, with sail sockliners and shoelaces tying the top half together both literally and figuratively. Down below, a GEL-filled sail midsole and gum outsole complete the look.

The ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Smoke Blue” is available now at stockists like Sneaker Politics, and retails for $110 USD.

In this episode of Vegans Only Eat Carrots: I fall down the rabbit hole that is a gay man right in the heart of Missouri (??) that owns enough tigers to run the wild. Nah, really. The tigers need to be in the wild. TF?!?!

New Balance may normally be known for its elegant colorblocking and refined details, but now it’s taking a walk on the wild side with a 1500 “Animal Pack.” The made in-the-UK sneaker still offers heritage construction and premium details, but thanks to the inclusion of bold animal prints it’s significantly more primal than other 1500s that have surfaced in recent months.

No time is wasted applying animal print: pony hair quarter panels and collars alike are equipped with vivid cheetah and zebra graphics, both given an extra level of standing by their ferociously furry construction. It’s business as usual on the rest of the shoe, however, thanks to buttery brown leather heel pieces and suede mudguards plus a brown mesh toebox.

Nodding to the regal nature of both animals included, gold is present on the midfoot’s N logo — where it’s rimmed with white trim — as well as on the heel’s 1500 graphic. Tongues present New Balance and Made in England text in white and gold, respectively, with white laces bringing everything together and a white patch visible on the heel liner. Down below, a white and gray ENCAP midsole with brown details and a gum outsole wrap things up.

The New Balance 1500 “Animal Pack” will release at EU stockists like Sneaker District in the coming weeks, and is priced at €180 USD (approximately $198 USD).
