Louis Vuitton Special-Edition World Cup Case Trunk

With Louis Vuitton producing the official case for this year’s World Cup — the third time it has done so — the French house has now announced plans to auction a special-edition trunk for charity. The new trunk features re-editions of the 14 official match balls that have been used at World Cup tournaments since 1970, each of which has been specially created by adidas.

All 13 match balls will be signed by a player who won the World Cup that year. As well as the official replicas, the case will also contain one additional football, which has been specially designed by Louis Vuitton. Strictly limited to just 25 pieces in the world, the Louis Vuitton trunk will go on auction on July 12, with all proceeds going to the Naked Heart Foundation charity.

Vans has teamed up with heritage Hawaiian brand T&C Surf on a limited edition footwear and apparel collection. The collaboration includes eye-catching takes on the Vans Sk8-Hi and Authentic silhouettes, as well as the Slide-On sandals, T-shirts, board shorts and a hat.

T&C’s signature yin-yang logo and wavy checkerboard print appear on the Sk8-Hi and Authentic uppers, which sport a vibrant black, yellow, blue and pink color palette, while Vans’ famous checkerboard motif visits the rubber cupsole. The co-branding extends to the apparel, which includes a yellow long-sleeve tee and split-panel printed board shorts.

The T&C Surf x Vans collection will hit Vans’ online store and select North American stockists later this month.

Created Don C, the hybrid model draws elements from Jordan Brand and Nike‘s classic Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 3 and Nike Air Trainer footwear silhouettes. Straying from the established sport look found on the “Storm Blue” model, the “Ghost Green” colorway features a bright full green leather upper accented by Cement print overlays and white hits. Finally, Just Don branding, a distinct midfoot strap, and a recognizable AJ3 sole unit round up the design of the shoe.

Priced at $160 USD, the Don C x Jordan Legacy 312 “Ghost Green” is set arrive online and at select Jordan Brand retailers along with the “Storm Blue” colorway on July 14.

Nike M2K Tekno “Phantom" Colorway

Following previous releases of the Nike M2K Tekno, the “Phantom” colorway has a release date for men's sizes. This time around, the Nike Monarch II-inspired silhouette returns in a clean, eggshell colored upper. The clunky sneaker has very subtle hits of pastel color, including the pale blue in the toebox and the milky green panels that make up the lateral sides. On the heel of the chunky sole unit, a vibrant, plastic orange panel pops out from the white midsole. The sneaker sits above a grey and black outsole. Be on the lookout for more information regarding the release date, which is scheduled sometime in July.

Taking the form of trim, high-top plimsolls, the selection encompasses a variety of makeups and graphics. Every time in grade school. Every time in grade school. When we used to visit the Coca-Cola Museum.Every time. They used to tell us the same thing. About how Coca-Cola used to be made with Coke. Cocaine. That white stuff. The nose candy. The white horse. That blow. That Lindsay Lohan. I'm not even sure seven year old me knew what that was at the time. I just knew it that one of the sodas at the Coca-Cola around the world station would get us "drunk". It was really just some soda with loads of sugar, I think.

Did you know that we have teamed up with Marvel for some limited edition Vans? Yeah, you knew. How could you not? Anyways. I'm wearing some today to cap off this look. This has to be top three in the collection with Marvel for me. I'll save what's number one for another day.

I was thinking of doing the checker Vans but ran off that idea to bring out something new. I'll give the classic a break today.

When it comes to going to shows, I always want to wear something that not too many people will have but still in the theme of things. So I had to keep it rocking. It's about to be as hot as the dope boy with the 8-ball in his jacket as the cops come around today. So white shirt would be the move but pink does the trick too. After revealing deconstructed Sk8-Hi and Slip-On silhouettes — coming in black and marshmallow — Vans Vault has now added new colorways to the pack. The new styles include the use of Vans’ signature checkerboard print, with a tonal blue colorway and a pastel pink-and-yellow design appearing throughout the collection. The pack also features the addition of the Vans Authentic and Style 36 silhouettes.

The collection features key design touches from the first the first “Cap LX” release, with elements that have drawn comparisons to Virgil Abloh’s ongoing Nike collaboration. This includes the “OFF THE WALL” lace tag and the use of contrasting materials on each sneaker. The collection’s inside-out theme is also referenced on the use of a monochrome checkerboard lining with an off-white exterior. The “Inside Out” pack will release as part of Vans’ Fall/Winter 2018 offering in the near future.
