Big Rings: Playoff Fever (ep.5) #2K16

You dream about this when your young. You think about this when you step on any court at any time, in the world. You sweat for this. You fight for this. You broken bones for this. You put your body on the line for this. This that moment that you wanted to be ready for when it was 12 am and the whole crew went home. Not you, you stayed out. You had to get 500 shots up. You had to get better. You worked your ass off for this moment. Win four and be a King. You don't have time to take the L. You didn't work this hard to fall. You work this hard to be the best and win it all. This is the NBA Finals and it's time to be Kings.

I didn't sleep before game one. I looked up and down the game-plan and I worked it to the point that I made myself sick. I really made myself sick. Throwing up in the Hotel room in Charlotte. I did all I should do and it was to be just left alone. It was up to the players to want to win this. I been here before and I know it wasn't going to be a cake walk. We're a three seed for crying outloud.

Game one came and we fell short. The team didn't fail us. They played hard. The thing about basketball is that the ball is not always going to fall the way you wanted too. This seem to be the case for the first two games. Playing in somebody else building is always like being behind the 8 ball. The crowd stays rocking and the rims get harder to see.

So they took the first two in their house. The next two games was in The Garden and we'll not losing in The Garden. We flew out the gate and shut out the Hornets in our house and even the series. It was the show that you had to see, it was not to be missed. You had Rose flying and KD dialing it in from deep. The Hornets would go on to win game Five in they house and we would win game six in ours. It's like whoever was the home team was going to take the victory and it wasn't going to play out good in our side. As they have game seven. Since they was the higher seed. Game Seven was on.

'Game Seven' spells finality and closure. Indicates drama and gravitas elimination! Legacy-definition. Must see TV. Sweaty palms and weak stomachs. History happens now.

Sidenote: As I said last post. My Xbox clips got deleted at random. I think I have fixed the problem so it won't happen again. Enjoy the amount that I was able to save.  See you guys next season. IT WILL BE BIGGER AND BETTER.

One was enough for me. It made me happy. I went to bed with the biggest cheese that you should ever see. Granted I went to bed after being up for four days after we won. I didn't think it would get any better.

Who knew that this one would happen and this one would be sweeter. It was beautiful to see this team go out and win this game. I knew they had it in them. They played like the champions they are. The whole team came together and played the role in which they needed to bring the ring home.

Also let's give a big congrats to the finals MVP, Derrick Rose. He played like a mad man. He owned the floor and the shots he made in the clutch was surreal.

We did it. We really did it. See y'all next season.

Big Rings: All Star Sparklers (ep.4)

Coming back to the NBA in my first year I just wanted to be in the action. I just wanted the drive that  I got when coaching a team. The rush you feel when the team in down by 2 with five seconds on the clock. It's such an amazing feeling that can't be topped.

I knew the team would be good. I didn't know that the clicking would happen so fast. I said this before, I know. I'm just still in shock. The three seed in the west. I can feel the pressure in the air, I love it.

As Taylor Green said on Sportscenter, it's just something about us and close games. The rockets took us to the wire in game one. They was sticking to us and that boy Andrew Wiggins has become a star. We damn near put us on the ropes. Damn near put us but the combo of Kevin and Derrick is one nasty team that pushed us by.  We went on to win the Series 4-1.

Sidenote: Xbox for some reason deleted my highlights for the next round so I have no video for this one. So I'll including the breakdown of it here along with round one.

Round Two (Hype Killers vs Mavs)

Maybe going down to the wire was enough of a kick in the ass for the team to get it together. Micheal Carter Williams has really embraced the shooting guard position.  At first I wanted to move Rose to the two and let Micheal play the one. Micheal is looking to always pass first. Rose wants to score. I took it a week and killed the idea and moved to Micheal to the two during the start of the season. After the All-Star break, he gave him the news that he is the two. He has been killing it. Having two points on the floor at one time is such a beautiful thing to me. I also like the big points. Sorry, got side tracked. We ra all over the Mavs.

Sidenote: Xbox for some reason deleted my highlights for the next round so I have no video for this one either. So I'll including the breakdown of it here along with the other rounds.

Round Three (Hype Killers vs Timberwolves)
This one wasn't a walk in the park. The three seed facing off against the one seed. The Ice Man, Damian Lillard. I swear he walks on the court ready to give the team he's facing a bad day. Old school basketball.  We got down early in this one. Timberwolves going up 3-2. I didn't really want to step in and suggest things to the coach but I had too. I noticed that the bigs wasn't being used in the way that they should. We have four. Work the monsters.

The next two games will did use the bigs as we dusted the Timberwolves in game seven. We even put on the retro jerseys for game seven. Just showing some love to Karl Malone and John Stockton.

I WAS ABLE TO SAVE THE GAMEPLAY FROM THE FINALS SO IT WILL HAVE A VIDEO

Man Down (ep.3)

We would like to give a big congratulation to our two All-Stars.

Now that the All-Star break is over. It's time to make that playoff push.  The All-Star game was one great tune up for Kevin Durant  As he scored 28 and looked like he haven't missed one step. Taking on the greatest in the world. He also started. As voted in by the fans. Even after being hurt for most of the first half of the season. Gotta love the fans.

Derrick Rose got in by the higher honor. Voted in my the coaches, It's nice to see that people see the work that he has put in while being the leader of the team with KD out. He scored 13 and added 6 dimes on the night.

D'Angelo is one star that didn't see raising so fast.  He played pretty well. We need to keep our eyes on him when his free agency is available. Young with talent. When be a great addition to the team as most of our players age.

When we started the season I didn't even see us losing more then 20 games in the season. We lost 30 and as of today we have made the playoffs. I'm not happy with the seeding but given the fact that we lost our star player early is actually pretty good. Losing only 5 games in the second half of the season.

It really doesn't matter how you get in. It's what you do when you get there, Tickets go on sale Monday. Let's pack the house.

ep. 2 'Live From The Baseline'

As of November 29th, 2017, Kevin Durant has been placed on IR. This comes after the game we played against the Clippers in the closing seconds. As we (the Hype Killers) went on to win, 84-74. This is a big blow to the team as we were 12 and 2 moving strong into the season. We hope to have him back by the All-Star break. In the meantime this is the chance for other players to step up. We need D.Rose to lead this team as we have the biggest star in the league out. We will be moving Larry Sanders up into the starting lineup.

(I sim all games btw)

The first game out and we played great without Kevin Durant. The ball was moving and all the players stepped up against a great Timber Wolves team. We had some high hopes, still do. The games are just not going the way they need to be. First we have Roy Hilbert getting hurt and Nicolas Batum just forgot how to play basketball. I don't know what it is. He was to be the secret weapon on the team. I more then likely won't be bringing him back if his failure keeps up. As of right now, he is wasting space and we can get a younger players into the rotation.

Along with Batum being up this year, we have to see about Larry Sanders, Hibbert and Ilyasova. I haven't made my mind up about all four but as of right now, Larry will be back in the Sanquon family if he wants too.

As many of you know, Larry Stepped away from the game around the same time I did. He just didn't feel it anymore.

It was announced on February 21, 2015, following his second suspension for marijuana use, that the Bucks were buying out Sanders' contract. On February 25, a video of Sanders was released where he explained that he entered into a program at Rogers Memorial Hospital for anxiety, depression and mood disorders. He claims that the program led him to realize "what's important, and where I would want to devote my time and energy" and that ultimately he realized that "for [basketball] to be consuming so much of my life and time right now ... it's not there for me. It's not that worth it." He did however claim to still love the game and that "if I get to a point where I feel I'm capable of playing basketball again, then I will."

When I came back. I had to bring him along with me. So he is not fully in shape as far as basketball goes but he is getting there.

The problem with the other three is that they have no reason for the way they have been failing. They haven't took any breaks from the game. Hibbert is not living up to what he can be. He should be a 10 and 10 player each night.

KD Returns To The Starting Lineup.

We were hoping to have Kevin Durant back after the All-Star break and work him back into the starting lineup. We got a pretty big surprise today as the doctor has cleared K.D. to practice. He's not 100% but should be soon.

Remember that basketball shape I said that Larry wasn't in? Looks like I will happily be eating my words. His play over the stretch has earned him a starting spot Pete Bell announced today.

"Larry Sanders will be stepping into the starting power forward position as Kevin Durant has been placed off IR today. We're happy to have him back and we know he's happy to be back. Moving Larry into the PF will put Durant back at his natural position at SF. Batum will now bring energy from the 6th man spot. We will be working this out during the All-Star break and will be getting this team back on track as soon as possible.  We started hot got cold and now it's time to heat up. We have the playoffs to make" - Pete Bell.

We also got some big news from the league office today. We have TWO ALL STARS. Be sure to read my next report to find out the three. Who do you think it is? Leave your guess in the comments.

Live From The Baseline (E.2)
Last Week episode: The Return ( E.1)

I'm happy with the start the team is off to. The team seem to be jellying pretty fast and I'm happy for that. I thought it would take most of the season for them to get a feel for one another. They seem to not need the year at all. Everybody is playing their part and have no problem with it.  The clicking is there.

Take the game we played against the Nuggets. I had the film department put together a video above. I don't want to say the team was being cocky but they played when they wanted to. It's kinda like playing against your younger family members. You know you can beat them. So you let the game hang around as you try new things. Let's just hope that they don't play around in the future.

Doing this game, Durant got hurt on a tricky tick play. It was nobody fault. Just a player being in the wrong place and the wrong time. He has said that he will play through it. We all know that a 50% Durant is better than most.  I told Pete Bell to get his eyes on Durant during the week.

See you guys in the next report.

I come here today to announce my return to the NBA. When I won as a coach in 2012, I thought I was done. I walked away on top. Walked away like the man. I came in and made the Bucks what they are today. I thought I was done. I mean who needs more then one ring anyways?
I have been thinking about this for a couple years and been turning down jobs as fast as they have come in. Going into this year, 2017. I am happy to come in as the Utah Jazz GM.

As many of you know, the NBA is planning on doing it's first ever super draft. Giving all teams a restart and making all players available in the draft. This seem like a good time as any to step back into the big dance.

The rumor was that I would just be bringing my brand, Sanquon in for the re-branding of the team. That is also true. We have brought the naming right to the arena and the naming rights of the team. New name and new start. Greatest in what we want.

The Utah Jazz are Now the Salt Lake Hype Killers and the arena will now be known as The Sanquon Garden.

NBA SUPER DRAFT

Old man basketball is what I used to gameplan around. Get me a big as the star. I went kinda different this time.

Key Players
With the 5th pick in the first round, I picked up the long arm shooter that can him from 40th. KD.

With my next pick I went with the bulldog at the point. The silent killer. The Rose.

Micheal Carter Williams: We got MCM in a trade with the Bulls. It was pretty tough to let go of Jonas Jerebko along with a first round pick. I didn't really care about the pick. If the season goes as I want it. We will be picking at the back of the draft anyways.

Jonas Valanciunas: The future of the team. We need for him to grow.

Soak it all in. We will be playing Basketball soon. The season starts next. (Posting new episode at 5pm)
