The long awaited partnership between Jeepney and online retailer, Karmaloop (www.karmaloop.com) has finally happened. The two companies joined forces to drop their latest limited edition collaboration together this Spring featuring everyone's favorite eye candy: not one, but two beautiful women in animal prints with a stripper pole.

Jeepney put their clever twist with a phrase on the back of the tee referencing the famous strip clubs animal names, "It's Déjà Vu when I go to the Zoo, 'cause I see Cheetahs, Rhinos and Crazy Horses Too."

Check out the tees here: Karmaloop x Jeepney Collab Tee

It looks like Obie the Space Alien got tired of the tinfoil (or orange, as he last appeared). And, instead, he’s decided to outfit himself in a more risqué outfit, looking like a magenta Lance Armstrong (with requisite jet pack, of course). Each one of these figures is individually clamshelled and boxed, and they’re only produced 80 copies of each, so keep your eyes out for one - or scour eBay.

I love comics. They are like art with words to read along with. That being said I bring to you(in a dope evil voice) "Mayhem". Created by Tyrese Gibson, Mike Le, Tone Rodriguez, and William Wilson. "Mayhem" is set in Los Angeles, the City of Fallen Angels. A city going down the path to ruin, being led by the biggest crime kingpin named Big X. Only one man can stem the tide of pain and drugs from flowing into the city, only one man can stop X from rotting the city from inside out. He is the embodiment of vengeance, the faceless arm of those who cannot defend themselves. He is known as Mayhem, and along with his partner Malice, they have one simple goal: dismantle X's organization, destroy the man behind the chaos, and save the city from ruin.

South African artist and recent feature on Format, Faith47, is calling on people to support her petition against The City of Cape Town’s proposed graffiti by-law. In short, this new law if passed, will prevent homeowners from permitting graffiti artists to paint on their property. In her petition, Faith points out ‘The new, proposed graffiti by-law criminalizes all forms of public art and violates our personal right to freedom of expression on private property. It makes no distinction between vandalism and public art that is done with the permission of the owner of the property.’ Help Faith, and all writers in Cape Town’s thriving street art scene and sign this petition; your efforts will have a great impact on keeping art alive on the streets of The Mother City.
