Kim Jones and Nike have teamed up for a collaborative Air Max 95 “Total Orange.” Following the designer’s striking Air Max 360 High collaboration from 2018 — and, of course, Jones’ work on the Dior x Air Jordan 1 “Air Dior” collection earlier this year — the two’s Air Max 95 presents a look that veers away from high fashion and back towards the world of Nike Sportswear.

Jones’ day jobs may be the head of Dior menswear and Fendi womenswear, but the British designer has long displayed a streetwise sensibility in many of his pieces and these AM95s are no different. The upper’s human anatomy-inspired panels are dressed in gray and equipped with a Morse code-like series of black dots and dashes. This is contrasted by a white toe cap with a small black Swoosh and a white mudugard that features Jones’ name stamped towards its rear. Another black Swoosh also appears on the lateral side, placed towards the black heel piece.

Eyestays boast a bright orange tone that’s accented with touches of hi-vis reflective silver. In an interesting twist, the Air Max 95’s standard strip of mesh that covers the toebox and bottom half of the eyestays is gone, replaced by a smoky black TPE. Tri-color tongue badges are placed on the black tongue and midsoles are done up in white with orange Air Max units. For a finishing touch, translucent outsoles reveal a large Nike Air hit on the bottom and PSI markings appear on the orange underfoot shank, an OG detail that’s essential to a purist like Jones.

First rumored in June, the Kim Jones x Nike Air Max 95 “Total Orange” will reportedly hit retailers in 2021, though neither this or any retail price has been confirmed by Nike. A “Black/Volt” colorway has also been speculated, but images have yet to be revealed.

Aside from the many Yeezy releases and Pharrell NMD Hu drops that have trickled out this year, one of adidas‘ 2020 highlights has been the revival of its A-ZX series. Thus far, the collection has seen 12 collaborative releases with the likes of LEGO, IRAK, the National Park Foundation and more, and now the Three Stripes imprint is checking off the letter “P” for drop number 13 that entails a project with PAM PAM.

Together, the Europe-based companies have elected to team up on the adidas ZX 1000. Visually, this lifestyle-ready rendition amalgamates neutral tones, pastel accents, and animalistic patterns. Greyscale hues eat up most of the real estate here via off-white base layers and stark black overlays, the latter of which land down the throat, towards the heels and around the toe tips. Subtle doses of “Trace Pink” lay along the lateral/medial stripes, heels and forefoot section of the treading, while leopard-printed pony hair textures hug the lower mid-to-heel overlay. Further details to point out include laces covered with repetitive “pam pam” branding, as well as the detachable golden ZX 1000 charm that dangles from the right foot’s first lace loop.

The PAM PAM x adidas ZX 1000 will be available globally on November 27th for $130 USD via adidas and select retailers.

You know, not all press is good press but Trump crying about the app is something that gets the blood going. I used to think that Tik Tok was something where the kids was dancing. That's about all we seen. That's all that was shared from this side of the field.

I was wrong and you know that. So go ahead and follow me as I cook things and sometimes be funny. It's gonna be more food then funny. Maybe.

Nike‘s Air Max 95 has received a light brown “Twine” colorway, a nod to the toasty earth-toned palettes of Fall. This release follows an equally season-friendly “Yukon Brown/Flax” colorway seen last month.

Starting at the top of the shoe is a navy “air max” logo that matches the color of the ripstop eyelets. Light brown laces cover a marbly yellow tongue, complemented by beige panels along the first and second-row uppers. The aforementioned yellow pattern is seen on the third strip, marked with a navy blue mini-Swoosh at the rear quarter, while the last two panels arrive in darker shades of tawny and cinnamon brown. All of these details rest over a crisp white midsole, complete with a light beige outsole to round out the shoe’s Fall-ready design.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Twine” is currently available on Nike’s website for $170 USD.

Nike‘s Air VaporMax 2020 FlyKnit has been given a bold “Team Red” makeover, a bright counterpart to the “Stone Blue” colorway seen last month.

The silhouette is part of Nike’s effort to bring sustainable footwear to consumers by limiting waste at various stages of the manufacturing process. Nike has made it possible to cut waste by making 50 percent of the shoe out of recycled materials. Most of this colorway embodies a striking “Team Red” tone, complemented by a hi-tech FastFit lacing system that not only makes it easy to lace up but ensures the most optimal fit. An embroidered Swoosh pops out from the shoe’s intricately woven FlyKnit uppers, while a marbly rear quarter comes with a rope-lock tab that can be pulled to loosen the laces. All of these details rest over a transparent full-length Air sole unit, made from 75% recycled TPU as a finishing touch to the sneaker’s eco-friendly design.

Nike’s Air VaporMax 2020 FlyKnit “Team Red” is currently available on Nike China’s website for $240 USD.

I don't fear nothing in this world but almond milk being outta stock. I put that on Allah. Take that how you see it.  It's this saying when you're doing too much. "Don't wear the mink coat". It's always the worst idea. It's what got Frank fucked up.  We'll talk about that on another day. But for now, let's not wear that but this.

 Leopard Print Faux Fur Coat

I need to feel something around the way I have been dressing before the world started to burn. I been doing it lately and I will keep on doing that. As I go to the store and bring my mask wearing ass home. I don't please. You have no need to.

Bandana Print Puffer Jacket

What set you claiming?  You remember when everybody was wearing pink in the early 2000's? Let's bring some of that back. It never left for me but some of y'all dressing way too tough. Put on some pink, what the fuck.

Funnel Neck Puffer Jacket

The amount of puffer jackets I have now is funny. Since I hated them in 9th grade. To the till I used to hide that big jacket in my locker all year long.

What you wearing today? Let me know on  Twitter / Instagram

If you like this one, be sure to check out other "Dress Like Javaris".
