Most people start the morning out with tea or some coffee. Me ? I start the day out watching First Take on ESPN2 from 10am-12. This is, if not the best show on the ESPN Network. Wait I can't say that. PTI and Around the Horn is great too. The great thing about this show is that they reach out to more then people that report on sports. They go beyond that. They talk with everybody. Wale for one. He really knows sports and well you already know he knows music. Can't wait to hear the full track.

By now, the Internets have gone crazy over the unveiling of Nike’s Back to the Future II MAG. As the finished product prepares for an eBay launch to the benefit of The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, the recent presentation was accompanied by some awesome sketches that would be the precursor to the Nike MAG. Presented by Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker, the slides show the development, brainstorming and story-boarding process as well as the official memo that led to the meeting between both the Nike and Back to the Future parties.

Redesigned to withstand the harsh weather of fall and winter, the iconic high-top Dunk has been updated as a part of Nike‘s new Off Mountain Series with the debut of the Dunk High OMS. Featuring a water-resistant ripstop nylon and leather upper, the Dunks make use of Outlast©-coated lining for enhanced temperature regulation while Warming Blanket Strobel technology under the sockliner aids in the process by reflecting body heat back to the foot. Cushioned with a full-length Phylon midsole, the updated silhouette utilizes a Free-inspired outsole adapted from the likes of the Special Field Boot and Free Trail with deep sipes and a snow tread pattern for flexible traction. Available in Baroque Brown/Black-Dark Khaki and a predominately Anthracite makeup, the Nike Dunk High OMS is available now from Premier for $140 USD.

The past week has been a whirlwind of activity surrounding the new home of the Brooklyn Nets, an entity partially owned by hip-hop mogul Jay-Z. In addition to the christening of the new Barclays Center tonight to a sold-out crown, the team’s jersey was unveiled. Cast in a clean black color with a simple font logo across the chest and herringbone tape across the sides, the herringbone pay homage to the same design on the court of the Barclays Center. The jerseys are available now at the NBA Store while a small capsule of an on and off-court apparel was also created with adidas.

Maybe it's just me, but the hype they had around this was way to much. I really think that this is way to simple. I dislike the Spurs for the same reason.

Another China exclusive model will help to usher in this year’s NBA season as evidenced by the Nike LeBron X Cutting Jade. Dior Homme has just taken the wraps off its latest collection of accessories for men. As the Exotic Skins name would suggest, the collection is meticulously handcrafted from some of the finest quality crocodile skins available. Three new items make up this collection: a large tote, a briefcase, and a cardholder. Finished in a rich, dark green crocodile leather, the three accessories are the perfect addition to any fall wardrobe. No word on pricing yet, but the collection should be making its way to select Dior Homme retail locations worldwide soon.

I seen this shoe in the 2k video yesterday and I thought to myself "Wow adidas made a good shoe". Inspired by the brand’s mid-top basketball styles of the ’90s, adidas Originals presents the Tech Street Mid. A casual off-court sneaker with a progressive edge, the Tech Street Mid offers premium nubuck and patent leather construction alongside an icy outsole, bold Trefoil branding, and an oversized tongue that would be right at home amongst the sportswear giant’s collaborative line with Jeremy Scott. Seen here in an Aluminum/Lab Green colorway and also available in a predominately black makeup, the adidas Originals Tech Street Mid will retail for $110 USD and is set to drop this Saturday, September 29 at select retailers.

Jordan Brand has been on a roll lately and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down as it brings back Johnny Kilroy, the fictional character Michael Jordan adopted for the Air Jordan IX TV commercials. To celebrate the Kilroy character, Jordan Brand is re-releasing several Air Jordan IX’s, starting with this silver/black/red variation. Featuring a black upper with silver trim and red lining, these clean kicks boast clever little details such as the Johnny Kilroy branding on the tongue, the fictional character’s jersey number on the heel, and the phrase “Kilroy Kicks Butt” stitched on the inside. Available starting October 6 at Singapore’s Limited Edt stores.

The Jeremy Scott and adidas Originals line unveils his most recent revamp of his JS Wings sneaker. In the photo above, the 2.0 features classical Hermes (the mythological figure, not the brand) styling in metallic silver with tangerine highlights. Detailing features a carapace-like skin and a zipper cover-up over thick black laces. The coloring and vanity lacing gives off a futuristic vibe despite its strong retro leanings given off by the stocky silhouette. Available at 43einhalb.

The insight video I have been waiting on is finally out. The 4 mins I been waiting to see is here for me to watch. I been hype for this video since they started doing them. I can't wait to get in this game and make a couple shoes. Last year shoes just looked bad, really bad. I mean it looked like blocks on they feet with some shoes. I also didn't like that you couldn't change all the colors on most of the Jordans and others.   They listen to us. We cried about this for the whole run of 2k12 and I'm glad they listen. Man I'm to ready. I made my pre order 2 weeks ago so I'm hoping to get this game at least on Monday. Cause online orders come early with most games. Just wait till you see my shoes on the blacktop. Killing Em. Oh and how can I forget they even went and got Tinker for the game. TINKER!!!!! Legend

In the latest episode of "Talkin' 2K" with the Lucas Brothers, They say Blake Griffin is argued to be the greatest dunker of all-time when an unexpected caller joins the debate. Um what are they smoking? It's this person by the name of VC that's way better. He is that good that I didn't need to even say his whole name.

Two seasons in the making, two seasons we been fighting to get to this point. Blood, sweat and jump shots in the gym went into this. Nobody thought that we would win the finals. Everybody been riding our team all year. ESPN even made a top ten of why Andrew can't be a team captain, the world wrote us off.
,

Woke up and the first thing on my mind was 2K13 demo. I have been waiting on this demo for about a month. They have been hyping this game for a long time. Since E3 we have been hearing about this game and how great it is. I didn't play to much of 2k11 but it was great, 2k12 is not. I feel like they drop the ball on it. They picked it up on 2k13. This game is the game that should have followed 2k11. This is the game that we should have been playing. This game is great. The feel the look and the game-play is the best I ever seen.

When I seen the video about them bringing the controls from 2k4 back I was happy. This we bring the game back to it's prime, back to the level it should be. This game plays nothing like 2k12. You would think that you playing something all different. This is real basketball put into a video game. What I mean by that is that you have to play basketball in this game. They don't react like robots in this game. They don't pick balls out of mid air, they slide feet on D. You can really get past people when you have the ball vs the cpu.

2K13 will be the game of the year no question , just this year they actually really are the best game out this year.
,

3 and 10 Wilson in the shotgun, he drops back and throws into traffic batted down. 4 and 10 Wilson in the shotgun again, he drops back, rolls around to keep the play alive tosses the ball up....It's a pick. Packers win the game Packers win the game. No wait the ref is saying Tate made the caught ? Wait what ? Seahawks win? This has to be the wildest ending I have ever seen in my life. I have seen a lot of football, I mean a lot. This ending tops anything I have ever seen in my life. This is coming from a person that seen a person get tackled from the sideline on a game winning run. This was just crazy. What the hell happen? I mean it's clear that he didn't catch the ball. It's not even in his hand, not even a little. The funniest part about this was the Seahawks. They were running around like they just won the Super Bowl. You got Golden Tate running around and taking a knee all over the place.

I been waiting on this info for a long time. MyTeam from what I get from the video above and the best way to break it down is that it's just like Madden and FIFA ultimate team. I like that this idea is being put into 2K. At first I didn't open up to it but as they spoke about it I really like what was being said. Don't worry LBJ,KB24 and KD can't be on the same team in this mode, you got to know how to work your money baby. The hype train goes on.....

As the influx of all-over-print patterns begins to merge with the trends towards heritage garb, Vans California is taking the initiative this Fall/Winter 2012 with their latest “Birds” Authentic CA Pack. Appropriately titled, the “birds” moniker is applied literally as both colorways feature an understated blue or hunter green all-over bird motif. Furthering the backwoods vibe, the uppers are constructed from washed canvas and are complemented with antique eyelet metal details. A nice transition silhouette between summer and the colder months, the medium-weight Authentic CA pack will be available from select Vans California stockists soon.

We had one mission this season and one mission only. Win the NBA Finals. That's it, anything else is a bust. Sure we have the best record in the league during the season, sure we have 4 players that got voted All-Star starters this year. Sure we have the MVP of the league in Andrew Bynum but if we don't win what do that make us? Losers. "If you aint first you last"-Ricky Bobby.

Like good dishes, some of the best results come courtesy of simple ideas and quality ingredients. The Genesis Project‘s modus operandi is simple — start with a team snapback from an array of professional sports, add premium materials and finishing, and call it a day. The result? Some of the more interesting and luxurious athletic-inspired headwear on the market. This season, The Genesis Project builds on its inaugural Project Floral offerings with Project Pendleton, a collection of Pendleton fabric-based caps with contrasting brims. Constructed with premium Navajo-printed materials, pigskin suede, lambskin leather and gold buckles and straps, each cap is the embodiment of nostalgia with a twist.

Louis Vuitton continues its commemorative campaign “The Greatest Words” of Muhammad Ali with Round 2. Celebrating the inspirational and rhythmic words of a man who stood up for his values in the face of oppression whilst becoming one of the most revered athletes of the 20th century, Louis Vuitton enlists wordsmith Yasiin Bey and calligrapher Niels Shoe Meulman to offer a befitting tribute as only they can. Having presented Round 1 earlier in the summer which covered Ali’s famous quotes, “This kids got a left, this kids got a right…” and “Last night I had a dream…,” today we get a look at Round 2 with Meulman tracing a giant “Ali” in the ring. The two additional videos to the campaign can currently be viewed here at Louis Vuitton’s website. The first piece pays homage to an interview Ali conducted back in 1972 where he discussed life’s recipe, while the second video inspects maybe his most remembered quote, “Float like a butterfly.”

Last week Building A Dynasty:Trades And More Wins #NBA2k12
Before I start this one I want to give out a little sidenote. The next one is the last one for 2k12.

Last season we had 3 all stars. Andrew,Jrue and Wilson. We all felt that Rodney got stuck out of the all star game, he was playing as good as if not better then most in the game. So this year it was great to see that the fans seen how hard he was balling this year, making him and the other starters, starters in the All Star Game.

Without the impressive direction from Tinker Hatfield, the creative landscape and influence of Nike would be very different today. GQ recently sat down with the creator of Nike’s most iconic sneakers — including Air Jordan iterations III through XV, to get the skinny on why he does much of his work after business hours, and what it was like to collaborate with His Airness himself. The interview also reveals where and how Hatfield finds inspiration, including the very environment that he works in. Much of Nike’s success with the Air Jordan series — and the brand’s impressive resume for innovation can be attributed to Hatfield’s unique approach to design, which has enabled the footwear giant to continuously remain ahead of the competition.

Introduced in 1992 as an answer to Reebok’s Pump line, Nike Sportswear is set to resurrect the Air Force 180 Pump later this year with the release of the Air Force 180 High. Worn by “The Admiral” David Robinson and returning for a 2012 retro release sans bulky ankle pump apparatus, this “Gunmetal” take on the basketball high-top offers a predominately tonal look alongside visible Air cushioning, a midsole gradient, and contrasting white accents throughout. Although not immediately obvious upon first glance, the likes of the shoe’s lining and Swoosh actually glow in the dark once the lights go out. Highlighted by Sneaker Freaker in the latest issue of its publication, the “Gunmetal” Nike Air Force 180 High is due out later this year.
