#MustHave Nike Sportswear Air Force 180 High “Gunmetal”

Introduced in 1992 as an answer to Reebok’s Pump line, Nike Sportswear is set to resurrect the Air Force 180 Pump later this year with the release of the Air Force 180 High. Worn by “The Admiral” David Robinson and returning for a 2012 retro release sans bulky ankle pump apparatus, this “Gunmetal” take on the basketball high-top offers a predominately tonal look alongside visible Air cushioning, a midsole gradient, and contrasting white accents throughout. Although not immediately obvious upon first glance, the likes of the shoe’s lining and Swoosh actually glow in the dark once the lights go out. Highlighted by Sneaker Freaker in the latest issue of its publication, the “Gunmetal” Nike Air Force 180 High is due out later this year.
