For the purists, Nike SB has released a new rendition of their ever-popular Dunk Low Pro silhouette in a monochromatic color scheme. This edition finds the shoe executed with premium suede and tinted completely black. While this model may not be the most colorful release from the Swoosh camp, there’s a certain elegance and simplicity about the shoe that any shredder can appreciate. The abrasion-resistant suede sees a return to weighted materials for the Dunk Low Pro, and will make for extended durability while skating or lounging. This versatile colorway also comes with Nike’s Zoom Air insole for added protection, not to mention a grippy outsole for maximum board feel. This classic colorway of the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro is available at specialty retailers, such as Premier, for $85 USD.

Returning this fall, Nike will rerelease its Air Trainer SC and SC II High as part of a Quickstrike “Vintage” pack. Nike’s Air Trainer SC model designed specifically for Bo Jackson during the early ‘90s will reappear in a white base with grey, orange and blue accents, a colorway that hasn’t seen the retail floor since 2009. Rounding out the pack, the SC II High will feature its iconic citron colorway in all of its original glory. Although touted as a “Vintage” pack, each model doesn’t seem to offer a worn look, but rather a very pristine exterior. Expect to see the Nike 2013 Fall Air Trainer SC “Vintage” Pack at select QS stockists starting July 6 via select retailers, including size?

Dear Sister of Mine,
This time 18 years ago.... Dad, Mom, Maae, and I were anxious to meet you. I remember it like it was yesterday. Maae and I were too young to be at the hospital, so we stayed up all night with Khalto Rana taking guesses at how beautiful you would be.

Seeing you for the first time made my heart full of joy. From that day I knew I would look forward to waking up to your big, grayish-toned colored eyes and that big smile I love so much.
I have to say...through out all of the ups and downs, fighting and screaming, the laughs and cries...these 18 years have definitely molded you into a mature young lady with a lot of love to give.

I'm thankful for you. You being my sister is sweet and even sweeter that you're JJ's aunt too. Happy Birthday baby girl!
Sister of mine, I LOVE YOU UNCONDITIONALLY! So proud of you! Have a great day!-Ghadir Said

Taking inspiration from its newly-released Hypervenom boot – created specifically for Brazilian international and future Barcelona FC star Neymar – Nike has crafted a special edition “Venom” version of its beloved Air Max 1. Draped in a predominately black upper of mesh and synthetics, the kicks see contrasting white and Bright Citrus accents throughout while the Hypervenom’s signature Punisher-esque skull logo replaces the usual “Nike Air” embroidery at the heel. The premium “Venom” edition of the Air Max 1 is now available from Germany’s 43einhalb for €134 EUR (approximately $175 USD).

French fashion house Balmain has released a new set of sneakers for nights on the town, the Leather High-Top Sneakers. Taking cues from popular high-top models of the past, Balmain has translated the traditional silhouette to fit in around the runway as well as they do on the concrete catwalks of the city. Despite velcro straps that ensure custom fit, the sneakers retain a relatively slim profile, pairing well with raw denim or other darker bottoms. Made in Italy with premium leather, the Balmain Leather High-Top Sneakers are available as an online exclusive on the brand’s web shop for €780 EUR – approximately $1024 USD when translated.

Not going to lie, I can't do the dirty bird. I can't remember if I was able to do it when I was young. Maybe I should say, I can't remember if I look stupid doing it.

As Nike SB‘s “Digi Floral” edition of Stefan Janoski‘s signature low-top turned out to be one of the brand’s most highly sought-after releases in recent memory, the brand has returned with a “Flora” edition of the kicks for Summer 2013. Eschewing your prototypical floral print in favor of all kinds of plant life, the kicks see a simple black & white make-up that sees the kicks with a predominately black canvas upper, a white flora pattern, and matching rubber foxing. Will Nike’s Skateboarding division drop a “Fauna” edition of the boat shoe-inspired silhouette? Only time will tell, but the “Flora” is now available online via the UK’s Flatspot for £60 GBP (approximately $93 USD).

Having worked together previously on a number of well-received iterations with Nike SB in the past, Brooklyn Projects team-up again on the “Walk of Fame” QS. The upper sees an alluring black elephant print paneling the vamp, heel and toe cap, while red suede accents the tongue and toe box. Elsewhere, a golden Swoosh accentuates the profile with bold “Brooklyn Projects” lettering stamped at its heel. Lined with complacent cushioning for added comfort and protection when skating, the billowy upper sits atop a white midsole and a black outsole. “Walk of Fame” QS is another celebrated hallmark from the two skateboard aficionados and will be made available exclusively through Brooklyn Projects outlets from mid July.

A J.Cole fan threatens to shoot his sister for a retweet from J.cole. Dude tweets and I quote "Retweet me and I'll buy Born Sinner. Don't retweet me and I'll kill my lil sister" attached to the tweet was a pic of him holding a gun to his sister head. Pardon my french, y'all muthafuckers are tripping. This is what our society has come too?

Maybe it's cause I have interviewed "famous" people before that I don't find getting a retweet from a "famous" person a big deal. I mean it's not money. It's not even a good thing. It's not like you saying something deep either. 99% of the tweets are this " Retweet me I your biggest fan". Just like that, just like that. Broken English and all.  Like you didn't have the time to use grammar?  I really can't just put into words have mad it makes me to see that is this the future of  our world. The simple fact that the JJ's have to grow up with people in this world like this. They better not bring that crazy shit the JJ's way, bet on that.

Today is a special day. My sister from another mister (Crystal) daughter is walking across the stage. Walking onto the steps as a Pre-K student and walking off, ready for the big girl school. She is getting so big. Like wow, she gonna be taller then me soon. That's not pretty hard, seeing that I'm short. Regardless, I'm proud of you Dancing Machine.  You keep walking across them stages. Next time it will be to get an award in science? You know you and the JJ's can win all the Nobel Peace Prizes if y'all want. *Fingers Crossed*.

Inspired by Nike‘s original “The Nike” – introduced by the brand in 1971 as its first-ever soccer boot – the Cheyenne has remained one of the sportswear giant’s most popular retro-inspired low-tops more than four decades after the initial release. Now, the Cheyenne is set to be updated as a part of NSW’s Summer 2013 “Lunar Icons” collection. Lined in black leather and retaining its supple suede upper alongside contrasting white accents throughout, the silhouette now boasts springy Lunarlon cushioning for an added bit of contemporary comfort. The Nike Lunar Cheyenne is set to make its debut at Nike Sportswear retailers across the globe beginning July 1.

Nike‘s iconic Blazer model has seen a variety of applications across basketball, skateboarding, and other areas of Nike’s expertise. For 2013, the classic silhouette has been given the gift of Nike’s industry-leading Lunarlon, birthing the Lunar Blazer to the public. The inaugural offering finds the sneaker offered in a tonal grey colorway, matched with a lightweight Lunarlon outer sole in its signature green. A padded collar and external heel clip combine to add support and security to the high top silhouette, while thin hiking-style laces nicely garnish the sneaker for life’s daily adventures. Look for the Lunar Blazer to arrive in the coming weeks at Nike stockists worldwide.

The other day I was re-watching "How to Make it in America". It's a was a HBO show about two dudes from NYC trying to make it in fashion with they've brand "Crisp".

The show had a great cast and was a pretty good concept. Wasn't to cheesy and showed the up and downs as they try to get to the top. By the end of the 1st season you found yourself cheering for them to make it. HBO didn't feel that way I guess. After a great 2nd season of twist and turns, HTMINA was pulled. To this day I'm still shock that the show was pulled. You would think you get a little more room to be free when on channels like HBO.

So I put together a list of shows I love that was ended too soon. Rather it be cause of the network or because of the networks. Cause let's face it, no show wants to be pulled.

I kept the list to shows that didn't get more then 1-3 seasons. Shows that just went off at random. Cause a lot  of pulled shows get to at least come to a close. Like "Friday Night Lights". I think I have watched all the season around 8 times. I was deeply in love with it. They at least got to have a ending to the series. It's talk of a movie. I would like that. Anyway let's get to the list.

Anybody that read my blog knows that I don't live to try something new. To me if I try something new and it's nasty, I have wasted my money. I don't like wasting money. I'm not a rapper, I don't make it rain. Well I was in Wal-Mart and I seen something that I thought about getting. I looked at it for a minute. What I was looking at was Jimmy Dean Southern Style Chicken Biscuit Sandwiches. I never had them before and I want to try them. My question to y'all, are they good?

Vans teams up with legendary cycling company Haro Bikes to produce a limited capsule. Though Vans is widely known for its skate-heavy heritage, the brand has also historically supported skating’s two-wheeled foils. Given Haro Bikes’ innovation – starting from one of the first mass-produced freestyle frames: The Haro Original Freestyler – this collaboration riffs on both brands’ extensive history of design and pioneering. As such, blue and green vintage-inspired racing stripes and checkerboards are the running motif throughout the collection, which includes: the Sk8-Hi, the Era (both pictured here), a range of T-shirts, and snap-closure hats. Enjoy a look the Haro x Vans collection, which releases July 15 at worldwide retailers.

Maybe pushing a promo for a show over and over in your face works. That's what USA did with Graceland. They pushed the promos in our face. Every commercial break it had a promo for the show. So when the show came around, I had to see what the hype was about.

I wonder what the guys over at 2K got up they basketball shorts. I seen a couple tweets from Ronnie2k so my first guess is that it's 2k14. My 2nd guess is that it's something about crew, cause let's be real, that's what we all want. This what they should do. Have a simple video with black background and then have the words "Crew's Back" flash across the screen. Follow that up with "#2k14" and then have the video end. The internet would go nuts in happy posts. Just thinking outloud. Let's guess together, tweet me what you think. @JavarisIsOnMars

The Nike Air Max Premium Tape “Camo” Pack brings together some of our favorite Nike Air Max profiles — the Air Max 95 and the Air Max Classic BW. Here, a variety of clean ash-grey camo prints are applied to the sneakers’ uppers, while a usual mix of technical fabrications — synthetic mesh, nubuck leather — are applied throughout. Sitting atop chunky outsoles that nod at Nike’s ’90s engineered Air unit, the “Camo” Pack is another eye-catching arrival that doesn’t forgo style for comfort. The collection is now available via End Clothing from £105 GBP (approximately $160 USD) depending on model.
