,

I think we packed at least 23 theaters when we gave away the tickets to the advance screening of 'Creed'. That was a fun time. The movie is now out and I would like for everybody to go and see the movie. If you seen it once, see it again this weekend. I haven't heard anybody say anything bad about the movie.I actually had people tell me that it's the best movie ever made. That's a little too much but I will say that it's one amazing move. The franchise can come back on the wings of this one. That's not an spoiler. So go out and see this movie. Let's support great art.

,
So today at the Hospital, the cops was walking this young boy down the hall. In handcuffs. He had to be about 16. Looked 16. Anyways. As this is going on, I'm just all confused. The nurses was too. Then outta the clear blue sky, the cop goes "Y'all alright?". Hella loud. I'm talking about you would think it was war time. I don't know what that kid did or was about to do but he wasn't about to do it in that hallway. Not with that bowl haircut.....I don't know, just felt like sharing that story. I found it pretty funny when it happen.

It's something about the poster of this movie that is just off. Had me feeling some type of way. It looked cheap and I was about to be mad that this was being made. In comes the trailer today. This one looks just as good as the first two. The style is there. Loads of times, when the movies get to a third. It get pretty weak.

Happy that this is not the case. I'm feeling this one.
,

The Thursday after last. The NFL did something that I dare say, was fun. Matter fact fancy. The NFL rolled at some home/home units. Not just any home/home. 'Color Rush" is the name that the NFL and Nike have dud them. I loved the idea when Georgia and Florida did it two years ago. Keeping it going this year. It gives the game a hype feel to it. Makes you pay attention. It pulls you in. I know, I'm reaching with all that. I felt it too.

But seriously, the two past Thursday night games have been great to watch with this 'Color Rush' going on. I just want the Jags to get a new color tho.

I'll say it, they look like shit. Like shit in motion. C'mon. The NFL has said that all games played on Thursday next year will be 'Color Rush'.  I'm hoping the Falcons get another Thursday night game.

Wait for the rap at the end.

Big Rings: Playoff Fever (ep.5) #2K16

You dream about this when your young. You think about this when you step on any court at any time, in the world. You sweat for this. You fight for this. You broken bones for this. You put your body on the line for this. This that moment that you wanted to be ready for when it was 12 am and the whole crew went home. Not you, you stayed out. You had to get 500 shots up. You had to get better. You worked your ass off for this moment. Win four and be a King. You don't have time to take the L. You didn't work this hard to fall. You work this hard to be the best and win it all. This is the NBA Finals and it's time to be Kings.

I didn't sleep before game one. I looked up and down the game-plan and I worked it to the point that I made myself sick. I really made myself sick. Throwing up in the Hotel room in Charlotte. I did all I should do and it was to be just left alone. It was up to the players to want to win this. I been here before and I know it wasn't going to be a cake walk. We're a three seed for crying outloud.

Game one came and we fell short. The team didn't fail us. They played hard. The thing about basketball is that the ball is not always going to fall the way you wanted too. This seem to be the case for the first two games. Playing in somebody else building is always like being behind the 8 ball. The crowd stays rocking and the rims get harder to see.

So they took the first two in their house. The next two games was in The Garden and we'll not losing in The Garden. We flew out the gate and shut out the Hornets in our house and even the series. It was the show that you had to see, it was not to be missed. You had Rose flying and KD dialing it in from deep. The Hornets would go on to win game Five in they house and we would win game six in ours. It's like whoever was the home team was going to take the victory and it wasn't going to play out good in our side. As they have game seven. Since they was the higher seed. Game Seven was on.

'Game Seven' spells finality and closure. Indicates drama and gravitas elimination! Legacy-definition. Must see TV. Sweaty palms and weak stomachs. History happens now.

Sidenote: As I said last post. My Xbox clips got deleted at random. I think I have fixed the problem so it won't happen again. Enjoy the amount that I was able to save.  See you guys next season. IT WILL BE BIGGER AND BETTER.

One was enough for me. It made me happy. I went to bed with the biggest cheese that you should ever see. Granted I went to bed after being up for four days after we won. I didn't think it would get any better.

Who knew that this one would happen and this one would be sweeter. It was beautiful to see this team go out and win this game. I knew they had it in them. They played like the champions they are. The whole team came together and played the role in which they needed to bring the ring home.

Also let's give a big congrats to the finals MVP, Derrick Rose. He played like a mad man. He owned the floor and the shots he made in the clutch was surreal.

We did it. We really did it. See y'all next season.

Nic Galways’ adidas Originals Tubular X silhouette gets a more detailed rendering this time around, eschewing its usual monochromatic fare for a little more color. With a navy base, the Yeezy-esque style features red accents throughout, set atop a gray sole with a translucent heel. Borrowing elements from basketball shoes, the Tubular X’s are comprised of a two-tone mesh upper, welded overlays and refective heel detailing. Keep your eyes peeled for these to be released at adidas Originals retailers and act fast, because they’re already sold out at Sneaker Politics.

This week episode was full of ‪#‎Outkast‬, so we picked out our favorite songs. Comment with your favorites and be sure to check out this week's episode "Strippers With Red Cup" on Soundcloud and ITunes.

,

Wait?!?! First off, I knew that Tupac was one of the biggest fans of Outkast fans. They was even going to tour and I think was going to get on a remix of a song. That would have been big for Outkast, This was when Outkast was first out. I'm talking 94'. I was just a child. So I don't know much of all that. This is random fact: Cee-Lo almost was a member of Outkast.
,

Ahh. The sweet thoughts of playing sports when we was little. It used to be such one big mess. Full of chaos. You had about three people on the team that knew how to play. The other ones was just in our way. I mean all the way in our way. Kinda like, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. When Will played for Bel-Air Academy.

That's one of my favorite episodes. So I had to pick up the jersey when I seen it.

Big Rings: All Star Sparklers (ep.4)

Coming back to the NBA in my first year I just wanted to be in the action. I just wanted the drive that  I got when coaching a team. The rush you feel when the team in down by 2 with five seconds on the clock. It's such an amazing feeling that can't be topped.

I knew the team would be good. I didn't know that the clicking would happen so fast. I said this before, I know. I'm just still in shock. The three seed in the west. I can feel the pressure in the air, I love it.

As Taylor Green said on Sportscenter, it's just something about us and close games. The rockets took us to the wire in game one. They was sticking to us and that boy Andrew Wiggins has become a star. We damn near put us on the ropes. Damn near put us but the combo of Kevin and Derrick is one nasty team that pushed us by.  We went on to win the Series 4-1.

Sidenote: Xbox for some reason deleted my highlights for the next round so I have no video for this one. So I'll including the breakdown of it here along with round one.

Round Two (Hype Killers vs Mavs)

Maybe going down to the wire was enough of a kick in the ass for the team to get it together. Micheal Carter Williams has really embraced the shooting guard position.  At first I wanted to move Rose to the two and let Micheal play the one. Micheal is looking to always pass first. Rose wants to score. I took it a week and killed the idea and moved to Micheal to the two during the start of the season. After the All-Star break, he gave him the news that he is the two. He has been killing it. Having two points on the floor at one time is such a beautiful thing to me. I also like the big points. Sorry, got side tracked. We ra all over the Mavs.

Sidenote: Xbox for some reason deleted my highlights for the next round so I have no video for this one either. So I'll including the breakdown of it here along with the other rounds.

Round Three (Hype Killers vs Timberwolves)
This one wasn't a walk in the park. The three seed facing off against the one seed. The Ice Man, Damian Lillard. I swear he walks on the court ready to give the team he's facing a bad day. Old school basketball.  We got down early in this one. Timberwolves going up 3-2. I didn't really want to step in and suggest things to the coach but I had too. I noticed that the bigs wasn't being used in the way that they should. We have four. Work the monsters.

The next two games will did use the bigs as we dusted the Timberwolves in game seven. We even put on the retro jerseys for game seven. Just showing some love to Karl Malone and John Stockton.

I WAS ABLE TO SAVE THE GAMEPLAY FROM THE FINALS SO IT WILL HAVE A VIDEO

If I was white, I would love for John Goodman to be my father. The man is awesome. Plus my last name would be 'Goodman". Middle name can be 'Is". Javaris Is Goodman. Okay, now I'm really wishing he was my father just for that simple fact.

Today we will be giving away tickets to see one of his new movies "Love The Coopers". LOVE THE COOPERS follows the Cooper clan as four generations of extended family come together for their annual Christmas Eve celebration. As the evening unfolds, a series of unexpected visitors and unlikely events turn the night upside down, leading them all toward a surprising rediscovery of family bonds and the spirit of the holiday.

I know nothing about this movie, but John is in it and John is GOLD. Plus, it's free. Can't beat that......with a bat.

Click here to get the tickets and be sure to move fast. If it's anything like the last. They're be gone really quick.

 Which one is the greatest?

Aquemini: is the third studio album by American hip hop duo OutKast, released on September 29, 1998 through LaFace Records. The title is a portmanteau of the two performers' Zodiac signs: Aquarius (Big Boi) and Gemini (André 3000), which is indicative of the album's recurring theme of the differing personalities of the two members. Released as the follow-up to the duo's 1996 album ATLiens, Aquemini expands on the previous record's outer space-inspired compositions by incorporating live instrumentation. The commercial success of ATLiens allowed for more creative freedom for the group, which led to the members self-producing the majority of the tracks. The band employed a large number of musicians for the album, who frequently entered and exited the studio throughout the recording process and had a major influence on the writing development of the album's songs. Lyrically, Aquemini explores various themes including human nature, addiction, and interpersonal relationships.

Stankonia: is the fourth studio album by American hip hop duo OutKast, released October 31, 2000 on La Face Records. The album was recorded in the duo's recently purchased Atlanta recording facility, Stankonia Studios, allowing for fewer time constraints and more musical experimentation. For the follow-up to Aquemini, the duo worked to create an expansive and experimental musical aesthetic, incorporating a diverse array of musical styles that included funk, drum 'n' bass, gospel, techno, psychedelia, and rock into a Dirty South-oriented hip hop context. During the recording sessions, André 3000 worked to move beyond traditional rapping in favor of a more melodic vocal style, an approach to which Big Boi and other producers were initially unaccustomed. Lyrically, the duo touches upon a wide range of subject matter, including politics, misogyny, sexuality, African-American culture, parenthood and personal introspection. Stankonia features appearances from many local Atlanta musicians whom the group discovered while visiting clubs in the city.

Man Down (ep.3)

We would like to give a big congratulation to our two All-Stars.

Now that the All-Star break is over. It's time to make that playoff push.  The All-Star game was one great tune up for Kevin Durant  As he scored 28 and looked like he haven't missed one step. Taking on the greatest in the world. He also started. As voted in by the fans. Even after being hurt for most of the first half of the season. Gotta love the fans.

Derrick Rose got in by the higher honor. Voted in my the coaches, It's nice to see that people see the work that he has put in while being the leader of the team with KD out. He scored 13 and added 6 dimes on the night.

D'Angelo is one star that didn't see raising so fast.  He played pretty well. We need to keep our eyes on him when his free agency is available. Young with talent. When be a great addition to the team as most of our players age.

When we started the season I didn't even see us losing more then 20 games in the season. We lost 30 and as of today we have made the playoffs. I'm not happy with the seeding but given the fact that we lost our star player early is actually pretty good. Losing only 5 games in the second half of the season.

It really doesn't matter how you get in. It's what you do when you get there, Tickets go on sale Monday. Let's pack the house.

In celebration of the global launch of Chris Paul’s latest signature model, the Jordan CP3.IX, an 8-bit video game has been launched that includes Los Angeles Clippers’ floor general and his latest shoes. Called "Striking Control' this games finds most of us back in our childhood. I remember it used to be this game from Disney. Online game. It was kinda like this, only you have to dodge football players. As the trail went on, the game got faster and so fast that the players would basically look like ghost with how fast they were moving.

I found myself playing this game for awhile and it will have you hooked. Just like the Disney game, this one is simple. Give it a try and post your high score in the comments.  Click here to play

It's really no secret. The Eagles are my favorite band of all time. I can often be found singing the songs at any time. It's just something that I always do. It's the wanting to be a Rock God. That's what Joe Walsh is, a Rock God. This man can play some of the fumiest licks you would ever hear in your life. That's what landed him in the band in the first place. The Eagles was already a band but when they started to go thru changes they happen to come across Joe solo work. They knew from the opening ten seconds that they wanted him in the band.

I for one, is pretty happy that they did. He kills it and kills it again and again. I have never heard everything bad when it comes to his music. Word is, his words. He was one bad boy back in the day. I'm talking about trashing hotel rooms for fun. Must be nice to be rich.

This got me to thinking. Not so much about the hotel rooms but about getting back into playing the weapon of greatness. I mean what would be better then to whip out the guitar and just let go for awhile.  I was checking Musicians Friend and I ran across this robert trujillo bass  (strings pack). I might have to buy a couple. I seen to break them fast.  Rock on, rock on.
,

They say that somethings get better with time. That seem to not be the case when it came to The CW. The CW used to be UPN, UPN used to be one of the most amazing channels in TV. This was before the days of one million channels. This is the channel that BET should have been. It was black star power. With the diversity that is the black culture. They had amazing shows, Girlfriends and Half & Half to just name two of the endless hits. They had the youth. They had the future. That was till they closed down and joined together with The WB and became what it is today. Whatever it is today.  So whack now. The CW. It moved to a new range of people. Girls in they teens that like to watch corny stuff.

One of the shows that was on the great UPN was Malcolm & Eddie. Malcolm McGee (Malcolm-Jamal Warner) is a responsible and sensible twenty something who ends up sharing an apartment and a business venture with relentlessly enthusiastic tow truck owner Eddie Sherman (Eddie Griffin) in Kansas City, Missouri (which is Eddie Griffin's hometown). A fast talker with outlandish frenetic energy, Eddie's charming naiveté always seems to get the two into hot water. But no matter what the situation, these opposites always end up bailing each other out.

Crackle currently have Season One for free to watch. I hope they add the other three.   Check the show out and let me know what you think.
