Funko POP! Marvel: Black Panther Movie - Black Panther (Warrior Falls)

Seem like just last year it felt like we were years away from getting to this moment where we are days away from the moment we have been waiting for. Black Panther hits theaters on February 16th and I am over the moon. I mean, I am actually thinking about what I want to wear that day. I already have the tickets and I feel like I should get more. I suggest you listen to our podcast this month. Just saying.

The Black Panther Funk Pop. Well, the one from Civil War has been out for some time now but with the upcoming release of the movie, Funk wanted more. So more we have. The whole gang it seems.
The princess of Wakanda, Shuri is T'Chaka's youngest child and only daughter. From a very young age, Shuri coveted the Black Panther mantle.

A native of Wakanda, he was born under the name N'Jadaka. When Ulysses Klaw and his mercenaries attacked Wakanda, they press-ganged N'Jadaka's father into helping them; when Klaw was defeated, the father died and his family was exiled

Nakia was descended of a gentle fisherman of Q'Noma Valley in the African nation of Wakanda. From an early age, she was groomed, as many girls are, to be one of the "Adored Ones," an order of women known as the Dora Milaje and serving as concomitants or wives-in-training for the king of Wakanda. The order of the Dora Milaje was established to promote harmony between Wakanda's many rival tribal factions. They also perform the role of the king's deadliest bodyguards and most faithful, most trusted servants

If you haven't picked up the Civil War Black Panther, you can do that right here.

Which ones will you be getting? Let me know on Twitter and follow me on Instagram.

At its recent Future of Flight event in Los Angeles, Jordan Brand used the gathering to unveil the uniforms it put together for the 2018 NBA All-Star Game. This year, for the first time in league history, the NBA‘s biggest stars will be sporting the iconic Jumpman logo along with their respective team motifs.

Utilizing a minimalistic black and white tone, the uniforms bring together sportswear innovation with the heritage of basketball. Designed on a functional level to allow players to perform their best, the aesthetics of the gear will pay homage to the location of the game and the teams’s hometown. Team logos are framed by font inspired by Los Angeles street sign typography.

Buttercream, the word rolls so smooth off the tongue. Whenever it's said, I always think about cupcakes. The fancy kind. The one you can only buy one at a time. Today I felt like looking like one short cupcake. I have this social event I have to go to and I might as well look nice for it.

Normally starting at the top but staring at the bottom with this one. I got these a while back and until this day, they were not something I was wearing.  I don't want to say this was an impulse buy but yeah, it might have been but whatever. I'm trying to get around to wearing all the sneakers I buy at least once.  They are actually on sale right now.

Guess I'll keep it going in this order. This look is about to be all the stuff I really don't wear too much. I got these cause I'm a man-child. Not really, that sentence was just flowing so well that I just left it in.  I really never have had the chance to wear these. Something about the color and my color. It's some every now and then pants.

When we went to D.C. I brought about three pairs of shades. Cause I knew the sun would be beaming and I didn't want to deal. I bet you can guess how many of the glasses that I wore. Zero. I forgot the glasses in the Hotel room. You can buy some too just don't forget.  Sunglasses here.
Out of everything that's on this list, I wear this one often. Not the silver pieces but the brown and tan all at once cause that's what the real ones do.

I need to get some kids so I can go to like a PSA meeting or something. This look starting to be like something for the 40-year-old me. I like it. I guess the mixer I have to go to tonight, I will be the best-looking person there.

I'm just saying it. I'm a trash shopper. I can't do it. I admit it.  When it comes to shopping for others I know what to buy while not knowing what to buy. It's crazy. Now the problem is that I can't pick one thing. I want to get it all. Now, that sounds amazing and everybody would love to do that too but let's be real. Not everybody should be getting everything and some should be getting a card to start. Not my niece though. She can get the world. Even if she would burn it all down. She bad but I love her.

So with her birthday coming up. This weekend. I have been going over what to get her. She's turning two this Sunday and I'm stuck. She already gets everything so it leaves little to buy so what do I do? Well, buy more things, so she can't even move around in her room with all the toys. Did this just become a haul post? Yeah, it did. See something you like, pick it up for yourself too. Also, enjoy some free Amazon Prime on me. Click here. If you're a student, click here and enjoy six months free.

About Places With Ghadir: Full name "Places I want to visit with Ghadir". This is a series inspired by what I want to do with Jeem(Ghadir). Travel the world (also the places we been). Duh!. The last place was Washington, D.C.

Now before we get to even do this one. Be clear. This is the places I want to see. None of that stuff you see on TV. This is not a commercial.

The City of New York often called New York City or simply New York is the most populous city in the United States. With an estimated 2016 population of 8,537,673 distributed over a land area of about 302.6 square miles (784 km2), New York City is also the most densely populated major city in the United States. Located at the southern tip of the state of New York, the city is the center of the New York metropolitan area, one of the most populous urban agglomerations in the world with an estimated 23.7 million residents as of 2016. A global power city, New York City has been described as the cultural, financial, and media capital of the world, and exerts a significant impact upon commerce, entertainment, research, technology, education, politics, and sports. The city's fast pace defines the term New York minute. Home to the headquarters of the United Nations, New York is an important center for international diplomacy.

For me to want to travel here is insane. Not being the lover of wanting to be around too many people and this place being the city of too many people. It's kinda important for the business that we visit this place often. So I have to suck it up.

I don't think a trip to New York is a trip to New York without getting pizza. Now, this pizza is not like any other pizza, it's fried. What else to expect from something coming right out of Hell's Kitchen.  Little modern spin to Neapolitan pizza, flash-frying the crust until it’s funnel-cake fluffy inside with a crispy coating, topping it with imported smoked buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil and then finishing it in the oven.

 Charging Bull
Charging Bull, which is sometimes referred to as the Wall Street Bull or the Bowling Green Bull, is a bronze sculpture that stands in Bowling Green in the Financial District in Manhattan, New York City. Originally guerrilla art, installed unofficially by Arturo Di Modica, its popularity led to it being a permanent feature.

Now I don't know if I will get the chance for this one. Seeing that thousands of people visit the bull a day. So this is more of a wish. New Yorkers, what's the best time to stop by? I want to know the fewer traffic hours. Thanks.

Oh, I will be getting my museum rocks off on this trip. That's one thing I have to do everywhere I go.  The Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York, colloquially "the Met,"is the largest art museum in the United States. With 7.06 million visitors in 2016, it was the second most visited art museum in the world and the fifth most visited museum of any kind. Its permanent collection contains over two million works, divided among seventeen curatorial departments. The main building, on the eastern edge of Central Park along Manhattan's Museum Mile, is by area one of the world's largest art galleries. A much smaller second location, The Cloisters at Fort Tryon Park in Upper Manhattan, contains an extensive collection of art, architecture, and artifacts from Medieval Europe. On March 18, 2016, the museum opened the Met Breuer museum at Madison Avenue in the Upper East Side; it extends the museum's modern and contemporary art program.

The best part about this museum is that you can book tickets online and jump the line. You have to pay the whole suggested donation amount which is cool by me. If it's not for you. You can get in for next to free by waiting in line.

Bushwick Collective Street Art

While some naysayers may turn down their nose and cry out that graffiti and street art is mere vandalism, others like mefeel  differently about the artwork gracing the walls in Bushwick.Anywhere really. Seeing that Krog Street Tunnel is my favorite place in my hometown.

Tastee Pattee
I'm not really too into my feelings when it comes to stuff about places where I'm not from but Brooklyn is the only place that I will get a beef patty in New York. Period. Don't give me that food cart stuff. I just maybe want a hot dog from you. Maybe not cause that cart not clean. Anyways, give me an older Jamaican woman making the patties, thank you.

This has to be the first thing that I have on top of the list. We might have to go here right when we touchdown. I didn't know much about this place till they started following me awhile back. I have been hooked since. Cereal bar from the OG in cereal. If you been to the old one you need to go to the new one. This one has more space and I just can't wait. Especially with the prices. It's like they giving it away free.
The best part has to be that it's breaking all the rules given to us as kids. Parents told us not to play with food. Nah, we playing and mixing it here. And they have photo stations set up for you can get the Instagrams shots off.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts
Whether you’re interested in theater, opera, dance, music or film, few names are as synonymous with high culture as Lincoln Center. Originally built in the late ‘50s with financial backing from John D. Rockefeller III, the 16-acre complex, made up of 30 separate venues, is a dream for performance art lovers. On any given night visitors sitting by the Josie Robertson Plaza enjoying the glowing lights of the fountain might see Metropolitan Opera patrons in full gowns, classical musicians with instruments on their backs and young children pirouetting, inspired by the latest from the New York City Ballet. In recent years the Lincoln Center Theater’s Broadway productions have included Tony Award-winning revivals of golden-age favorites like The King and I and South Pacific, while Film Society Lincoln Center remains a favorite among film buffs for its selection of small, but powerful indie and foreign films. If you’ve always wanted to know more about the design, acoustics, and the internationally renowned performers, take a guided tour ($20, students $18). And if you’re young and hoping you’ll one day tread upon those storied boards, then the Juilliard School, also at Lincoln Center, is a good bet for training, but be forewarned the conservatory has one of the lowest college acceptance rates in the country–but ticket prices to their phenomenal performances are very attainable (average price $20). - Tolly Wright (Timeout.com)

Shakespeare in the Park

425 Lafayette Street  New York, NY 10003

You know, I might have said that the cereal bar is top of the list and that is true. This is the granddaddy of them all. I need this one right now. The ones in Atlanta, I always seem to miss.  I want to see it in the big apple.  Where it first started cause nothing is like the original. I have been checking the website for when it updates the play for this year. I'm hoping for "Othello" or "Macbeth".

 Brooklyn Poets

61 Local, 61 Bergen Street, Brooklyn, NY, USA

Brooklyn Poets is a non-profit organization whose main goal is to create a community for poets in Brooklyn, which they believe is the birthplace of American poetry. This organization offers aspiring poets the opportunity to advance their skills through a network of mentors, teachers, and workshops conducted through their ‘Bridge‘ program. Brooklyn Poets offers a selection of events for people to showcase or watch poetry, including their free bi-monthly reading series at various locations and YAWP, a monthly reading workshop at 61Local in Cobble Hill. - Rachelle Eason (The Culture Trip)

Broadway theatre

Broadway theatre, commonly known as Broadway, refers to the theatrical performances presented in the 41 professional theatres with 500 or more seats located in the Theater District and Lincoln Center along Broadway, in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.  Along with London's West End theatre, Broadway theatre is widely considered to represent the highest level of commercial theatre in the English-speaking world.

Now, I have the plays I want to see and the ones I will never see. My luck not long enough for Hamilton. It would take the world to be able to get tickets at this point. What I do wanna see is "Wicked", "SpongeBob SquarePants", "Chicago" and maybe "Latin History for Morons".  Not all in one visit. I would have to just live in the theatre. Good lord, what a dream.

   Rucker Park
Rucker Park is a basketball court in Harlem, Manhattan, New York City, at 155th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard across the street from the former Polo Grounds site; it is geographically at the base of a large cliff named Coogan's Bluff. Many who played at the park in the Rucker Tournament achieved a level of fame for their abilities, and several have gone on to play in the NBA.
Now I don't really want to play on the court, although that would be great. I just want to see the court and walk on it. If that sounds odd to you, you didn't grow up on EBC and ball is not life.
Well that should do for now. Wanna just find things at random beyond this point. Leave some places in the comments you think we should go and follow me on Twitter/ Instagram
