A sneak peek of Christian Tresser’s game-changing Nike Air Max ‘97 shoe reveals a fresh new design that seemingly takes inspiration from the classic 1980s TV series Miami Vice and its art deco-flavored pink and green logo.

The show’s logo takes front-and-center on Nike’s mood board as its color palette of turquoise and lavender rose has been incorporated onto the sneaker. Two bands of 3M reflective gray material encircle the upper lining, collar and tongue, and the upper and mid-section is composed of white mesh and leather with pink and green leather banding resting atop the classic foam midsole. A white fabric pull loop incorporates the lowercase “air max” insignia and stretches down the back of the sneaker, with the legendary Nike “Swoosh” being encapsulated in a turquoise green leather tab placed at the top of the tongue.

An official release date has not been made.

Expanding its vast universe of fictional running clubs, Nike introduces its newest faction, the “Everybody’s Nike Running Club” and reveals the “Waffle One” sneaker as its introductory member.

Piggybacking on Nike’s theme of inclusivity, the lightweight runner incorporates a cast of varied cartoon style characters including a ninja turtle, a sleepy foot, a drippy cloud and a caged bird. This ensemble adorns the insoles of the shoe while a set of wide eyes are affixed to the tongue “Swoosh.” An earth-tone color scheme covers the sneaker in brown, forest green and hot pink, with a taupe suede tongue liner and mesh upper offset by a black leather center “Swoosh” and a juxtaposed yellow mini version next to the toe box.

Finishing off the sneaker is a paint-speckled grey outsole contrasted with a rose-colored TPU heel clip and dual stacked midsole, while the club name is circularly etched at the back pull tab.

We’ll have to wait until 2022 to cop these new earthy Waffle Ones, but its predecessor the “Waffle One SE” currently retails for $100 USD at Nike.com.

Each object is an homage to humanity and are based on original sketches that the prolific artist made in the 1980s. The Stacking Figures Wooden game consists of an array of Haring’s exuberant characters that can be endlessly arranged on top of each other. One of these characters is also blown up into a wooden children’s chair that comes in four different colors.

Additionally, Haring’s iconic Baby sketch is available as a rocking chair, along with a set of 18 wooden magnets. The limited-edition release is available to purchase now via V1 Gallery’s webstore and makes for a great gift for the holiday season.

After going on a hot streak with Jordan Brand by generating Air Jordan 1 collaborations in 2018 and then two sets of Air Jordan 4 team-ups in 2020 and 2021, renowned streetwear boutique Union LA is now gearing up to partner with Nike to lend its touch to the Dunk Low. The shoes first surfaced towards the tail end of November, but now that the kicks’ official images have popped up we have a view all of its intricate details.

For this forthcoming design, Union owner Chris Gibbs and his team opted to stray away from the silhouette’s traditional constructions. Instead of smooth leather uppers, the shoes are devised with full grid-patterned uppers that are adorned with a cool baby blue tone across the forefoot and overlays and a gradient purple hue atop the quarter panels and collars. Contrasting notes arrive by way of the angelic tongues as well as the Union tabs that affix to the quarters and exposed orange stitchings that outline the shoe’s various sections. Union also adds their own Frontman logo atop the button that is embedded into the lateral heels, the left shoe’s insoles and on the forefoot of the icy treading.

The shoe box is cooked up with a special flight-inspired motif, and it houses a special flight ticket that says “Nike In Collaboration With Union.” The shoes are expected to drop sometime in 2022.

OREO THINS has just announced an unforeseen collaboration with the #1 wine brand in the United States.

Teaming up with Barefoot Wines, the two will be releasing a small batch of “Barefoot x OREO THINS Red Blend Wine.” Taking chocolate-wine paring to a new level, this red wine’s flavor is directly inspired by OREO THINS with notes of chocolate, cookies-and-creme, and oak joined by natural flavors of blackberry and dark cherries.
