To love what you have done is to take the time to actually sit back and live in the beauty of the seeds that you planted. The landscape of society changes at such a rapid rate that you never know when the last will be just that. I want to make sure that we here at The Squire + Said co never find ourselves lost in the ever-fetching moment that is time. We are not defined by our goals as a company. That box can't confine our fluid nature. What we can control is the enjoyment we have along the way. Our first "Company Retreat" in Atlanta, Ga will bring all the amazing talent into one place to live in the moment as André (Leon Talley) would always yell at me to do.
The company has big plans for the future and that will be addressed but for now, let's champion the journey that we have taken to get this far.
The first retreat for the company is in honor of André Leon Talley & Virgil Abloh. I forever give you the flowers from the garden you help us grow.

Louis Vuitton has unveiled its new men’s Pre-Fall 2022 residency in Soho that highlights the final capsule from the late creative director, Virgil Abloh.

Even though the loss of Virgil Abloh is still felt around the world, the fashion world is still remembering, honoring and paying tribute to the visionary creative. His work lives on and the latest iteration of his storytelling prowess is present in Louis Vuitton’s newest temporary residency in Soho for the men’s Pre-Fall 2022 collection. Titled “Daybreak,” the latest capsule is Abloh’s final capsule for the French heritage house. Featuring gradient walls in shades of teal, jade green and pollen, the walls and floor of the space are finished off with yellow Louis Vuitton initials.

“My philosophy is very much informed by the clothes that people actually wear. What I do is an analysis of a generation: what do people buy and why do they wear it,” said Virgil Abloh? “That question naturally creates an equal interest in tradition as it does in changing tradition. But it’s also about challenging myself and exploring different land. That is creative freedom.”

In addition to the cool-hued setting, the residency space is also outfitted with custom mannequins of models who were a part of Abloh’s vision. The store is outfitted with ready-to-wear garments and accessories from the Pre-Fall 2022 collection – featuring mohair knitwear, outerwear, vests, denim, luxe sweatsuits and t-shirts. A highlight of the collection is contemporary suiting that features Louis Vuitton’s Damier print detailing in addition to vintage trunk closures.

Rounding out the capsule are some of Abloh’s signature accessories like soft trunks, mini keepall bags, backpacks, LV Trainers and more.

Check out the images above for a look at the residency that is currently open through early June at 104 Prince Street in New York City.

Do you feel that? I feel it. I know you feel it too. It's the sale season. As somebody that's always shopping, I live for this day. This season. This is when you get to buy all the things you will be wearing later this year. Unless you live in those places that are always cold. Anyways, I can put you on the game really fast. Brands make enough clothes for the winter collection to last until the end of the winter season. Sometimes (All the time) things are leftover. SO what happens is the brands mark everything left down to clear the warehouse and stores for the new things that are set to be released. Can't get new in if they old still sitting there. This is where we win. Tommy and others are marking things down right now. Sales time. 30% off on some much stuff. This is where you buy and save. This is how you build your closet. Anyways, let's start this haul.

Can't go wrong with the classics. (They also have it in white

You better.

A Lil twist on the classic Tommy blue.

That's all that I got from the sale. I didn't go too crazy. Wanted to leave things for everybody else.

Did you get anything?

The upcoming pairs appear primarily in light denim uppers with double-stitched seams and raw edges. Pastel blue panels run across the eyelets and outcropped lateral branding tabs, and vermillion hues are featured across the side Swooshes and heel tabs. Classic denim motifs continue across the jacron-inspired Air Max tongue patches, and crisp white hues extend to the laces and inner lining. A white/pale blue sole unit below features a red translucent Air Max unit to complete the design.

After introducing an over-designed take on the Dunk Low, Nike is now set to debut the Air Max 90 Scrap.

Building on its emerging “Scrap” line, the shoe serves as a maximalist take on the classic Air Max 90 silhouette. Coming in a mix of “Beige/Blush/Sail,” the shoe features mesh and leather uppers defined by stacked and tacked on panels. The Air Max 90 Scrap maintains the overall look of the original with a maximalist outlook. Elevating the shoe are Air-assisted midsoles paired gum rubber outsoles.

The spring is right around the way and by the time you read this, spring will be jumping in your face. Punch it and tell it to chill. Can't be doing all that like Roma is not out here. With spring comes the cleaning on the store for some. Sales. Ralph has one, and I'm about to stack up a couple of things for my niece. It's a wild game that I'm playing. Cause hopefully my niece doesn't get too big and can't wear them when winter comes around. Goodwill is about to get some nice stuff if she is too big. Only time will tell.

Floral Teddy Fleece Pullover

I was looking for this is men's too. That would have been cute to be matching. I love the boldness that this jacket has. It's in your face and playful at the same time. I need one too. Ralph, make it shake.

Floral Quilted Barn Jacket

Now, for this one, she would have to wear this one on her own. I don't think I can pull this off. Maybe, I'm wrong. Like tan pants or light-washed jeans with some butters. Well, that was easy. Too bad they don't have it for men in this one too. About to have my niece looking like she part of Dipset. Kid butters.

After recently joining forces with JJJJound for a tasteful BAPE STA collaboration, streetwear stalwart BAPE is now trucking right along with another joint venture with the likes of Vans. The Japanese label and the Anaheim-based skateboarding company have reconnected for a second head-to-toe footwear and apparel assemblage.

The main attractions of this capsule lie within the footwear department. BAPE opts to rework the Sk8-Hi 38 DX and Old Skool 36 DX silhouettes with its signature camo patterns to create street-meets-skate balance. The former is done up in mismatching fashion and comes decorated with a custom ABC camp pattern, while the latter steers in the more classic direction by making use of BAPE signature green camo graphics. Each take is completed with a black midsole stripe, white midsoles and traditional waffle bottoms.

Two limited-edition tees are also implemented into the collection, both of which are styled with co-branded hits across the front and then imagery of the Sk8-His on the backside.

If you plan on copping then mark your calendars for February 26 as the collection will be released exclusively via Vans and BAPE retail stores, as well as through the Vans website.

If you reading this then you already know, the streets are talking cause the new Supreme drop is coming. Me, I'm not posting all the pieces cause all the pieces are not me. I'm posting the ones I want. Nah, the ones I need. Let's make this short and sweet.

You can never go wrong when it comes to Lil Kim. She is the icon and the blueprint to being sexy while being hardcore. The only thing I don't like about this drop is it's no t-shirt. I like that they went another way that they normally do with famous people but give us the extra and the t-shirt, please. Now somebody put "Queen Bitch" on.

Speaking of the gang, this has the "gang" all over it. I wouldn't be shocked if this was something we have at Vans and gave it to the hometown cause this is the vibe. Give me the yellow from the 80's and the brown like Charlie. I think I made this and forgot cause YO.
Now I am a sucka for trunks. I love them since I was a little jelly bean. Just something about them. Makes me feel like I'm at war without being at war? Am I making sense? Well, this one actually makes me feel like I'm back on tour. It's a nice change-up to the Louis that I collect.
