Jordan 6-17-23 “Dark Concord”

Jordan Brand has held onto its dominance, in part, through strategic releases of the classics. Here we find Jordan fusing two of its most distinctive models from the past – the VI and XVII – to create the 6-17-23. Fans might recall that Michael Jordan’s 17th model took inspiration from the lines of an Aston Martin, expressed in wide, powerful features at the midsole, arch panel, and lace loops. These characteristics were lifted from the original silhouette and put onto the Air Jordan 6, which here can claim the collar and toecap portions of the mash-up. The shoe is executed with purple leather and nubuck around the upper, contrasted by black accents and an icy midsole – all of which account for the “Dark Concord” naming. Look for this release from Jordan to drop on May 3 on Nike’s website.
