I Heard Y'all Need A Hero (Sunset Overdrive)

This is me in 2027. This is how I would dress during an apocalypse. Looking like I'm in the punk rock band, Kick Girl. That's one big ass gun. It's called 'Dirty Harry". Dirty Harry likes to blow brains out. Clean across the road. I have recently been hooked on playing "Sunset Overdrive"

The game is set in 2027, in a fictional metropolis called Sunset City. You controls (fully custom) an employee of FizzCo, who has to fight off the OD, short for Overcharge Drinkers: humans who have turned into mutants after drinking FizzCo's energy drink beverage. In the dystopian Sunset City the player character can wall-run, use zip-lines, and grind rails to swiftly navigate through it, with a large arsenal of weapons to use. The game also has a cooperative multiplayer mode called Chaos Squad, which tasks players to complete a series of missions with seven players. As the game put emphasis on momentum.

When the Xbox One was first announced this was one of the first games, if not the first, that was one of the selling points for the system.  It worked for me. I was loving the vibe of the game and the gameplay, even if I didn't know what was going on. I finally got around to play it and I can't stop. As stated above you are now the Hero that Sunset City needs. The city has gone to shit and now you must nut up or shut up. Word to Tallahassee.

If you ever played 'Jet Set Radio' then you will instantly get the feel for this one when you pick it up as you try and escape to your apartment in the opening scene. All the dashing and zip lining, bringing back so many memories.  They say that the last half of the games picks up. If the start of the game is what they think is slow then I can't wait to see what they call fast. I'm loving the boss fights they have in the game. You kinda got to remember the moves you pick up in the game to beat the bosses. You can't just run down the street shooting OD. It will catch up to you. You have to boogie on em. You also have to watch out for the assholes. You would think that when hell breaks wild with Zombies that humans ban together. Nope. Same ole bullshit. Can't we all just get along. You will also see that it's some good humans too. People on yo side of this thing called life.

Oh, hey ladies. You can also play this game as a women. Don't worry about the price of things. You make so much in this game that it don't matter. They also have the system split. You use money to buy clothes, etc. Overcharge (The drink that made everybody go bat shit crazy) is used to buy weapons. I haven't finished the game so I don't know why Two Hat Jack want's the soda. Gotta love somebody with a name like that. Hey, that's one of the people that's here to help. He sells you bad ass weapons.

I been trying to do the side quests that are in the game so that I can fully enjoy this and not rush to finish it as some have said that it takes around 10 hours to finish. That's without any of the side stuff. They have also been coming out with DLC story line so I have that to look forward too.

Only thing I don't like about this game is no Co-Op on missions in story mode. That would have been amazing. Besides that, this is a must get if you can.

Peace, off to be a Hero.

Where my theme music.
