Nike Air Vapormax Flyknit 3.0

As a follow up to last year’s intricately woven “Silver/Volt” rendition of the Air VaporMax Flyknit 3.0, Nike has put out a new, but similar, take on the progressive runner. The previous colorway embraced scheme that mostly included bright neon hues, but Nike has decided to go heavier with black shades this time around for extra contrast.

Starting at the top of the shoe, a short bright blue tab is placed over a silvery platinum base at the upper tongue — the blue accents also appear along the ripstop backstay that comes with orange “Vapormax” branding. Most of the uppers come in a muted gray palette, textured by its stretchy Flyknit weave, while subtle hints of neon appear at the eyelets and mid-section. To match the shade of the laces and side Swoosh, a black heel counter is placed just over the glossy Air unit cushions. As a finishing note, fluorescent volt highlights appear at the midsole’s forefoot, creating a bold two-toned contrast at the sneaker’s foundation.

The Nike Vapormax Flyknit 3.0 “Vast Grey/Dark Stucco” is currently available on Nike’s website for $190 USD.
