Don't Sweat The Technique

Little fun fact: Back in High School. I used to DJ some parties. Wasn't nothing too major. Just high school stuff. Looking at the turntables at Music Friend  got me thinking about the old times. I was kinda like the Jam Master Jay of my city. You know Jam Master Jay. He was the DJ of the influential hip hop group Run–D.M.C. During the 1980s, Run-D.M.C. became the biggest hip-hop group and are credited with breaking hip-hop into mainstream music.

I didn't know he also played  guitar. Played it so well that Spin (Magazine) named him in the top 10 of the greatest '100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time'. That's some good stuff.

Back to the topic. I was looking at the turntables at Music Friend and they look really nice. Also some pretty good prices. I even see one that has a USB port. Now that's living life. I never had one like that, I had one from like the 90's. It was pretty old classic. I also used the head phones. The Arion ones, hotwatt . They was pretty great. Sounded like a stadium inside the ears.

I was pretty smart with the way I went about it tho. I used that virtual dj program on my cpu.  I had it all the way hooked up. I used to start each party with an Ludacris sample starch. It was something like "Welcome, welcome, welcome to the south'. Something like that. It was dope. People loved it. I might have to check out the deals that Music Friend have and bust the one, twos out at a Sanquon party.
