Breaking Bad Set Locations Visited in Albuquerque

It takes a very certain type of TV viewer to appreciate the wildly popular and darkly humorous AMC drama Breaking Bad, and an even more esoteric type of fan to appreciate the work that an Austin couple went through to visit all of the Breaking Bad set locations in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In case you missed the boat, the show follows a down-on-life high school chemistry teacher who turns to a life of crime by cooking and selling methamphetamine to help break even before he dies. At any rate, this video faithfully re-creates much of the show’s shot juxtaposition at a number of locales made infamous by key moments in the show. You’ll find Twisters (which is apparently called Los Pollos Hermanos), Tuco’s hideout, Hank’s workplace, Jesse and Jane’s place, the corner where Combo “gets it,” the gas station where Walt blows up a car, along with the Kimo theater, and many others. Unless you’re already rolling your eyes at the concept, don’t lie — you probably wish you’d thought of it first.
